Dont think MC cares that much about the loss, he is pretty certainly going to be the highest earning player in WoL by the time HotS is released (MVP is the only player who is a threat but hes gonna need lots of time to recover from his surgery).
in a couple of years, he will be the player most people think of when they look back at WoL, the Bosstoss who managed to claim the most money despite playing the statisticly least succesfull race. He is the only protoss in the top 10 earnings list, but he is the number one. http://sc2earnings.com/
you can kinda tell by the way he is playing that he doesnt really "care", in the meaning that he has nothing left to prove. He still likes to win, but you can tell that he kinda lacks the motivation these days.

I was once worried that Khan might not do well in SC2 since they lack an SC2 coach, but some of their players are looking strong at least. Let's hope Stork picks up the pace and starts becoming more formidable in his own right. I'd say that Stork has already picked up his pace, he's looked impressive lately when playing sc2 so khan must definitely be doing something right. I agree. In my opinion Khan is the best team in sc2 at the moment, followed by Team 8 and Woongjin I hope KT Rolster can start showing better results with Clide now coaching them. I don't want my team tag to become a mockery

Overall, im sad to see Kespa players and terrans dissapoint. The former was no surprise but i expected better from the latter. Tournament needs more Taeja.

Don't make silly assumptions.

You want to defend MC, but all you do is making him look bad. It's an insult that he wouldn't care about these games, WCS is probably the most important tournament this year.

nice to see two elephants brining home the bacon - Roro and Reality!

Wow, you see people try to be cute with immortals and warp prisms fairly often, but usually just when they're already dead or already won. I've never seen someone micro them as effectively as Squirtle did in that game 1, god damn that was insane.

I hate this, did you even read the article? In that original article, the "elephant" was supposed to be people like Flash, Fantasy, etc because since they are so talented, SC2's competition is a "farce" without their talent. Them losing when Roro and Reality win is counter evidence to that stupid article. When 200 new people start playing at the professional level, obviously some of them will be good and will win (Roro and Reality in this case). The article did not argue "when the BW players switch, there will be more competitors in the scene!", it argued "when S and A class BW players switch, current code S players will never win ever again". That is why that article was fucking dumb as hell.

Also all the Kespa protoss players love doing it and hero[join] was pretty sick against puzzle with it.

I have no clue why people are invoking elephant or anything, this is just typical roro. Expect roro to lose and he will win in style it's how he always works :p.

Dude, I'm an MC fan and I know he cared about those games. He's a pro and he said himself that part of being a pro is doing one's own best to win for his fans.
He lost to Leenock, plain and simple. Give credit to Leenock, he deserves it, punishing the greedy stalker first build with the zergling all-in. It was a smart play on Leenock's side.
MC will bounce back in the loser's bracket. I'm sure of it.
Meanwhile, GO SEED!

You have to make excuses for your favourite player. God forbid it was actually the opponent who simply played better! gasp!

It's nice to see Protosses multi-task. I know that P will get away from the deathball in time. I think, in the case of game 3 of Hero and Puzzle, Hero should just let loose fewer units in Puzzle's main.
I'm guessing it would just take better unit ratios to do this. I remember in BW, Bisu used to talk about just how exact unit compositions should be when attacking.

Why wouldn't MC care about the games? No one knows what the grand prize for WCS World Championship will be. For all we know, Blizzard is going to unveil the biggest prize pool in history. They have the money to if they wanted, and if the grand prize is some insane amount of cash, you can beat MC would be kicking himself if he didn't make the finals.

Glad to see a couple Kespa players can compete. Was really hoping this wasn't going to just turn into a shittier Super Tournament.

ok i dont get why people were syaing game 2 of roro vs hack was a bo win because roro loss like 22 workers to like only 11 workers for hack. haha roro third game was beasting it in macro. just seem like he had the bigger army the whoole time. playing a style all bw players were comfortable with

Even ones that don't make too much sense. Happened when DRG lost to MC & then lost in GSTL. Happened when MVP's winrate fell off after his 4th championship. Happened after NesTea's 3rd. Happens after Naniwa loses to a random b team zerger. Thing is, people are always going to point every which way but themselves or the players themselves. It's human nature.
