These type of strategy will almost never ever work in high level play Slow-Ling all-in.lollll MC got bopped. I guess Leenock is one of the few who can make shit like this work (Reminiscent of 6 pool against Alive when Alive 1 rax FE) MC got too greedy and did not scout properly. Pretty embarassing to lose to such thing actually. On the contrary, I think this would only work in high level play. What good protoss player makes a zealot and just have it sit at the wall and hold position on the .01% chance my zerg opponent is doing a slow ling runby? have you seen ANY good protoss make a zealot and have it hold position at home? no, its on the map trying to get map control against the 2-6 lings the zerg might have, not trying to blind counter the possiblity that the zerg makes 40 slow lings and just walks it into your natural

MC knew that he was cutting a corner, but that corner might be the extra 5 seconds that his 8gate hits earlier just before 20 lings pop or something :D calculated risk that didn't work this time Well other zergs he can cut corners. But if you are playing against zergs like Leenock,Life,Suho who won't hesitate to just dish out unconventional all-ins anytime, better be safe than sorry and just make that zealot or make a full walloff or just have a probe do the block for a short time..

There don't to be many tears from what I can tell honestly, most people seem to be arguing about whether taking risks like that are worth it. Which they obviously are, because EVERY player takes similar risks.

You're basing this Pylon walloff on the scenario where Lings aren't even in the space where you could wall it off. But they were there instantaneously when they rolled right in and took down the cannon. You're playing a big WHAT IF here. I'm playing the build a Zealot and play it standard and safe. If he had as much as a suspicion that Leenock wasn't playing standard, he'd have a probe in place, ready to build it. It's MC man, he FFs perfectly on two fronts against speedlings, building a pylon before slow lings block it is not beyond his capabilities. He lost because he did not see the attack coming at all, because he didn't really scout beyond confirming the third. It's a stupid one time loss, he will continue to not build the Zealot, and never lose to this again.

I was once worried that Khan might not do well in SC2 since they lack an SC2 coach, but some of their players are looking strong at least. Let's hope Stork picks up the pace and starts becoming more formidable in his own right.

Reality advancing yesterday and RorO advancing today, not to mention Jangbi looking formidable whenever he plays SC2 despite practicing for an OSL finals. I'd say that Stork has already picked up his pace, he's looked impressive lately when playing sc2 so khan must definitely be doing something right.
