What do you mean? 12 Zergs got through the preliminaries for this tournament alone (more than the other 2 races), including current top zergs like Curious, DRG, Coca, Leenock, etc. Sure, it's missing Symbol/Nestea, but you can say for same for Terran missing players like MKP/MMA etc, doesn't really mean much when the preliminaries are Bo3 single elimination.


Too bad it isnt just this tournament. And who cares about prelims, look at round 2.

thanks for the response. i've been watching for the last few days and barely seen zergs win. that is my observation.


Your observation ignores the fact that pretty much every Zerg that's lost had opponents that were favored against them, especially with DRG currently slumping.

Or he is just being accurate. There aren't many Protosses who are as creative as Hero.


Wasn't exactly a creative game though. Standard 3 base immortal play, chose to go templar instead of colossus which is hardly uncommon, and then won in straightforward fashion since effort traded poorly throughout the early and midgame.

Just make then slow as fuck at firing, and even reduce their splash. As long as they one shot workers, just build everything else around that, besides, marine splitting is really effective in this game, I think its completely possible to balance them. The fact that they duded randomly was a bad thing imo, not a good thing.
