That's so not true lol, I played phantom more than the actual game back in the day, and 200/200 Ravens (or 250/250 or 300/300 if you're pally/phant) is by far the scariest deathball if you can control it, maxed out BCs also beat maxed out Carriers because of Yamato, Maxed out Infestors also pretty scary. Not saying going mass Carriers is a bad idea, but it's not the über comp. Also if you go pure counter comp with maxed Vikings or Corruptors, Carriers also melt. | ||

Primarily Carrier with HT support and warpprism ready to warp in behind the moment supply drops to 198/200. 1 carrier dead = 3 stalkers ready in 5 sec. Just go play phantom mode. It is even ridiculous to think carrier is bad ^^. Different from ladder. | ||

As far as I know the Chinese player Ace (not Startale Ace) in beta first used the Mothership Vortex, surrounded it with FFs and then killed everything instantly with Colossi, so Blizzard made it destroy FF and then naturally it led people to use Archons. Also, I think Day9 coined the term. | ||
