I asked Beasty and he said it should be doable if you use your banshees to target fire and micro well.
I still struggle with holding it myself so you probably need Empire Terran level micro/mechanics ^^

When e-sports grow bigger and pro gamer career is taken more seriously by societies, then we might see more older age champions. For now, being younger is an advantage. Some say you have school, but if you start to work, school responsibility is such a joke compared to working responsibility. Maybe some youngsters don't understand that. I certainly didn't back then to be fair. Videogames really rely on your cognitive abilities, your reaction times and whatnot that decline relatively quickly. Plus only the young tend to have sufficient time to dedicate to playing full time which is probably part of it. I personally don't really like ret's playstyle but he has won international tournaments and done really well in many others but suppy doesn't have any accomplishments whatsoever (no doing decently in WCS usa doesn't count as an achievent... not even close to an achievement you could compare to some of ret's) strange point of view Whoever wins today is better. At the highest levels of gameplay, your initial assumption is a logical fallacy. Everybody can beat everybody on any given day; there are no easy wins. Even Suhosin was on the brink of defeating Mvp in group stages just because he chose the right strategies.
The round robin format has multiple instances where it would be advantageous to lose a game, or there is no incentive to win one. In winners' format you always want to win every series.

Round robin is obviously more fair (which is why it is used in every real sport), but the GSL format has the advantage of being more convenient for the tournament oganizers.
