Hack barely lost to Squirtle with it. And he beat Lure. A composition of like 70% hellions 15% Tanks, 15% Ghost is pretty good.

Unless Illusion suddenly becomes as good as Taeja, this game five is going to be as brutal as the previous ones. I don't see how Illusion can win this series.

That game looked similar to the game where he played bio lategame, dying to DT harass, except Illusion actually had an army that could conceivably defeat Squirtle's army. I feel so goofy saying it, but imo mech still needs more experimentation, on some maps (like that one) it feels viable.

Well at any rate I am pretty sure he has to go into the mid or late game with a pretty significant advantage. Or yeah, becoming online Taeja.

If the hellion drop actually catches the P off guard, followed by banshee harass, the game look a lot different... The general idea is that P ends up building units to defend against your harass rather than units good against mech and can't change their composition fast enough later.

I think far more tanks are needed. 40% Hellions, 40% Tanks, 15% Ghosts, 5% Vikings to manage warp prisms, floating around the map. I dunno, I'm no pro, but just on the back of games where mass tanks are used lategame, in combination with Ghosts, they seem really effective, the Terran just has trouble quite closing it out.
