Why do players keep doing it? It does work. Squirtle just had a terrible engagement using vortex badly and had 40 extra supply in his stargates. yup. carriers are exponentional, same as tanks. he only had like 12 carriers, if you get to a stage where like 160 of your 200 supply is in carriers (so upwards of 25 carriers) there isnt much Z can do

This map is pretty much the only one I've seen where its possible since you basically only need to bounce your army between those close chokes to be able to make that super army. I think maps will play the biggest role in this game unless Blizzard makes major game engine changes (which I doubt happens)
Oh and I'm not complaining, I'm just making observations if anyone thought otherwise.

Corruptors......................................just kill carriers. You just need to make many of them and there is no amount of carriers that can be effective. Squirtle should have harrassed more, kill the spires, so Ret had no answer to carriers.
