ret vs alicia at NASL looked like both players were trying to lose as hard as they could. don't think i've ever seen supposedly high level tournament semifinals which looked as horrible.
(alicia vs stephano, too, but he was expected to lose that one anyway. just not _that_ horribly as he did, it was probably even worse than nestea vs inca)

NASL finals was pretty brutal, Alicia got rolled over again and again and again....
Alicia put up a fight, Inca did the exact same all-in 4 games in a row that didnt work a single time nor come close to working

If he had not dropped a game to Oz earlier, he would have a 2-0 advantage, which means he only has to win 2 games across the entire series and his opponent has to win 4.
Compare to Taeja, who could lose the first series 2-1, and then has to win 2 games in the next Bo3 to advance, for 3 total.
Best advantage goes to person with extended series.

If you come from the winners bracket against someone who you haven't played against, you get a second Bo3 if you lose the first.
If you play against someone who you've already played against, you have to win 2 games in a Bo3. You don't get an additional advantage because that advantage is already better than just the winners bracket one.

Well thats because his PvZ is weak compared to Stephano's ZvP.
HOWEVER
