First of all sorry, I say dumb and aggressive stuff in LRs after a stressful day of work.

True about the not saving for gas, but 3 OC's by that point in the game isn't unheard of, and also Terran's losing gas mining doesn't hurt them as much due to being able to just throw more money into marines if necessary. Not always ideal of course, but never an absolutely horrible idea either.

In any case, sorry again. I sometimes read the things I write in these and I'm like man what is with me?

That cancel nexus in game 1 of their series in NASL showed a lot of respect (perhaps maybe too much actually) for Ret by puzzle. Most would just 2 base immortal sentry all in the foreign zerg. Think that points towards Ret winning this, though perhaps it was a sign that Puzzle thought he could just "cheese" (not sure if cancelling the third really counts as cheese). That's all speculation tho.

Damn this map and its insane middle base. I still don't understand why its there, especially when mappers had the huge discussion about Barrin's FRB. That thing runs completely against the idea of spreading armies out across the map rather than just holding onto a base and thats it.

In regards to that, and I don't want to sound incredibly unsympathetic to Zergs out there, but there are ways to counter the toilet. Pre-splitting the deathball, or the infested terran trick once the vortex is dropped are just two that come to mind.

But I guess that is just me personally. Whenever the mothership and archon combo is out, the game tension increases as you wonder if the Protoss will get that clutch toilet or miss and get overrun by the Zerg. It's kind of like a hail-mary play, and I understand why people would dislike it as part of the meta-game.

Puzzle for me is probably the most solid Protoss out there, maybe not the absolute best but he's just pretty damn good at everything.

Ret confuses me, he's so mechanically sound but some of the stuff he does blows my mind, next game should be good Taeja is coming out!

puzzle is probably top 3 protoss, solid in all 3 matchups but he plays ridiculously standard, that's why he's so underrated, no flair

No, he's actually really good :p

Fun fact: As you all know, MC is the only Protoss Code S champion. But Puzzle is the only Protoss Code A champion in history, and will likely remain so for all of Starcraft 2 history. Of course Code S is far superior to Code A, but it just goes to show:

I don't play Zerg or Protoss and have no complaints about counters or balance or whatever, I just think it's fucking boring to watch the turtle fest into one spell insta-gg.
