In GSL people have time to study your games and figure out how you play they can prepare build just to beat your playstyle. You can't do that in a weekind lan. Stephano is a great player but you can't call someone who has never played in the hardest SC2 Tournament the best SC2 Player You don't think MC prepared for his overseas rival? Stephano was his only obstacle for the finals and it was a Bo7...

The fact that players are allowed to study Stephano and develop strategies that are specialized against him will make it so much more difficult for him to beat his opponents, especially when they too are Code S players. He might be able to make RO8, but anything beyond that is something I doubt. You must have missed the post above you that states that everyone has been studying Stephano for 6 months and he's still difficult/impossible to beat. That's because it's not a "style" or "build" that's allowing Stephano to win, it's because he's good at every part of the game. Except drinking . . . he's not good at drinking.

He just wants to roll through to the end and cash in. Can't say I blame him, and I'm definitely a big fan because of it. Stephano probably knows he is more likely to win more money from foreign tournaments than participating GSL. GSL win pays the most, yet it is tougher than any other tournaments and it is not so frequent either.

The fact that GSL requires you to live in Korea for extended periods of time will always grantee that GSL will be Korean dominated. There will always be like 5 foreigners competing against the 200 best Koreans. Therefor it is not suitable to have as the only measurement of top skill cause it means by default that Koreans all ways be the best.

I enjoyed watching the ceremony, but it was kinda odd. I can't really believe they planned it like "Well, and when the final match is over, EVERYBODY ENTERS THE STAGE AND DANCES". I don't say it was bad, though.

It's a professional e-sport event. Not even giving the runner up, third and 4th place any recognition just to act like moronic teenagers on stage? Did anyone actually look at iNcontroL? he was standing back with his arms crossed, probly thinking 'wtf is that?' it's ridiculous honestly. 'hey, guys, i got second place' 'fuck you, who are you?' 'oh ok'
