Stephano himself didn't expect to beat MC, that's how good MC is. And that's how good Stephano is. And that's how far away Ret is.

Turtling for >30 minutes and ending the game in a single battle isn't the idea. Long macro games are those which reach that stage after tons of skirmishes and battles throughout the early and mid game, with engagements all over the map, harass maneuvers and strategic moves going on all the time, to finally end after a long fought engagement in the end. Watch Bisu vs Last for very recent reference. If you want to watch true epicness, watch Jaedong vs Flash from a few years back on WCG, the very definition of a "long macro game" There are a couple of SC2 games that are decent, too. SC vs Nestea from GSL May semis comes to mind, I can't think of any others right now, but you can check the vod threads, etc. Actually, a lot of games on Crossfire are really awesome- Reminds me of Peaks of Baekdu from BW, which was such an awesome map

PvP and PvZ are pretty similar, pretty good in the early, mid game (although i prefer PvP) and completely shitty in the late game with a heavy tendency to just be determined by one wrong move.

Ret should really have practiced more if he actually wanted to win NASL or beat MC and the others.

ferrying units into the main base is always a better way to free up supply than walking roaches into his army. And then in late game he would have the option of targeting the main while holding his 6th base, instead of pushing forward into the mothership.
