Tbh ultras were bad but now of days I don't think they are. I don't really see zergs complaining about them being bad anymore either. I don't think they are as strong as bl/corruptor/infestor obviously but still pretty strong. I do think eventually you will want to transition into broodlords but they definitely aren't bad ^^ (except for zvp they are bad, have a small window where they are pretty good I feel in a normal game then need to switch out of them or you will lose)

Despite whatever wolf said JJ didn't mismicro his marines at any point, perhaps he should be punished for trying to put pressure on a zerg that went double hatch before pool, but that's not how I see it.

I thought the entire bust was rather terrible. With that many resources, you could spend it on units that don't suicide, or use your banes far better than Whale did. Great splitting is to be expected from Jjakji, and when Whale killed a relatively small number of SCV's and pre-split bio units, those resources could have been much better spent.

Well, in Jjakji's defense, not getting behind against the queen build is quite hard, right now. You are either drowning in a sea of creep or trying your luck with marine pressure that might fail anyway (six queens transfusing each other with ling support are not exactly easy to take down at that stage).

Well, I don't think Ultras are a bad unit, but I think that Zergs throw games away through using them, like in this game:
against mass bio with mech support that is on good upgrades and has good medivac counts.
Basically, it is the medivac count imo, that destroys ultras. The spread out units block the movement, and therefore they dont get the splash in, but they also dont overrun the first few units, because each of them has a personal medivac and it comes down to Ultras needing like 4-5hits to kill a single marine.
