Why is it okay for Symbol to lose after making mistakes, but not for terran?

Definitely. MKP still won against Symbol on Antiga though. Antiga is really the most favorable map for TvZ in the pool. I would have liked some win here to consolidate Byun's confidence in TvZ... it was. I think those late game player are way more confident on Whirlwind/Metropolis now where you have the eco to transition into sky terran. I see Byun more as a classic TvZer. Drops and trade bio well with great micro, not the new turtle style and split map to BC-raven-ghosts-whatever. I guess Byun can play this style too but I've never seen him do it. I very much prefer Byun's way of playing lategame TvZ. The constant dropping and harass made it impossible for the BL-Ultra transitions to be as effective as they could've been otherwise. It's so much more entertaining too. Exactly, I like it more too. I'm not entirely convinced that the "turtle to ultimate composition" is the Terran way of getting the job done. I certainly didn't switch to Terran to play like Protoss :D
At a decent lvl (master +) it's far easier to do the multitask late game than the turtle one. And when you look at the replays from the Z pov it's hilarious :D

Pre-emptive splitting isn't something to gasp at, with this change there would be so much more skill needed on both sides. Zerg aiming, terran dodgin'! Gogo Byun, hope he can re vs Symbol and pwn him hard! That was AWESOME!!!!
That really needs to happen. Maybe with a slightly faster projectile.

I wouldn't call them bad, but Mvp is just levels beyond both of them. If he had lost to either of them it would have been absurd.
With this state of TvZ right now it's not a surprise for top terran to lose to mid tier zerg.

Z11 Symbol <Ohana> Z5 DRG
Both go to 15 drones and expand, make another drone right after. Except, DRG gets a gas before his pool. 4:00 both with double queen, DRG's speed is already on the way, slightly faster than symbol's. both are droning. 5:00 baneling nest for Symbol, DRG with lings, and the camera flashes to a cute girl (DRG's girlfriend?) 6:00 DRG goes straight to roaches, symbol makes banelings in his natural. DRG's lings get to the natural, see lings, and walk away. 7:00 Symbol has sim city in his natural, an evo with +1, some spines, and his gases. DRG takes his third, and is starting the roach transition. His lair is slightly faster
8:00 both with +1 weapons, DRG starts his infestation pit and his lings pressure the spines that are moving down the ramp into the creep of Symbol.

I have to wonder why Symbol made overlords up to 140 supply when he's at 70 supply with no bank.

Hmm haven't been paying attention to the game. How is DRG so far ahead in pretty much everything?
EDIT: Oh wait, I thought DRG was the one who was also getting pathogen glands. Turns out it was Symbol.

DRG just has a bunch more stuff than Symbol, wtf
