Yeah, regardless of balance or whatever, what I dislike in present XvZ matchups is that unless one player goes for a 2base all-in it just skips early/midgame, and all the action happens during lategame. Lair tech vs marine/tank was so good but now we barely get to see it anymore :/

I think DRG is the better player between him and Symbol.

Both go to 15 drones and expand, make another drone right after. Except, DRG gets a gas before his pool.

DRG got this

Symbol is more creative but DRG is more solid overall imo.

They are fairly close but I think Symbol's zvz is better.

Of course, so do I, but from a viewer's perspective, this is still the best/most interesting/most fun matchup we have by far in my opinion.

I WANT DA STREAM NAW. But sadly I can't.. ill post faster sorry Don't be sorry, you're doing an amazing job, thanks ! Btw, sad that after what seemed like an amazing play from Byun, he still loses... I really dislike the zerg lategame. I feel that the Terran must not make ANY mistake once BL/festors are out.... Terrans really need an AoE spell that works against other things than casters... ~~ That's the thing that bugs me most about that game. Byun handled the BL-Ultra-BL-Ultra transitions pretty much perfectly, had the game in the bag, then forgot to split his vikings once. He made late game Zerg not look as strong as it has in the past til that one mistake. That's why i'd like that Fungal Growth does less damages. I mean, pinning down unit is just already huge (especially combined with Baneling and/or ultras). Add up the damage, and it's incredibly efficient... I don't know how this could be adressed... And to which extent...
If he had SPLIT HIS VIKINGS,he had great positioning with his ground army but he probably forgotten to split his vikings twice especially the last major battle where 1 fungal caught all the vikings. That cost him the game especially in late game when both players were almost mined out.

only a few Z look invicible in ZvT. The others are still doable for most T even with the queendralisk. The day when Min will have 23 tumors active at once is still waited. Beating Min and Sniper, Code A lvl zerg is a small feet, pretty good but nothing to be proud about.

I wouldn't call them bad, but Mvp is just levels beyond both of them. If he had lost to either of them it would have been absurd.

Nah, Symbol's zvz is his weakest, he lost to violet and monster I believe... DRG's ZvZ is superb.

I could have sworn that I talked to Juliette in TL Teamspeak one time...

Byun only lost that because of clumped up vikings.
Terran is fine as long as GSL removes large maps like alantis and metro. MLG map pool used to be anti-zerg. But after the zerg buffs, last mlg has one of the most balanced race representation. SC2 just isn't supposed to be played on large maps. I don't want to see TvZ regress to a state like PvZ where terran turtle into raven deathball and the game is decided by 1 battle.
In short, things will turn out fine when maps start changing =/

Definitely. MKP still won against Symbol on Antiga though. Antiga is really the most favorable map for TvZ in the pool. I would have liked some win here to consolidate Byun's confidence in TvZ... it was. I think those late game player are way more confident on Whirlwind/Metropolis now where you have the eco to transition into sky terran. I see Byun more as a classic TvZer. Drops and trade bio well with great micro, not the new turtle style and split map to BC-raven-ghosts-whatever. I guess Byun can play this style too but I've never seen him do it. I very much prefer Byun's way of playing lategame TvZ. The constant dropping and harass made it impossible for the BL-Ultra transitions to be as effective as they could've been otherwise. It's so much more entertaining too. Exactly, I like it more too. I'm not entirely convinced that the "turtle to ultimate composition" is the Terran way of getting the job done. I certainly didn't switch to Terran to play like Protoss :D

All players would be forced to play both Terran and Zerg only and only play TvZ and just alternate who plays which race.
