Just needs to not immobilize air, only do dmg.

I know, MVP should have played better and scouted it. He should have assumed his opponent would take risks against him. Yup, should expect inferior players to do this a lot. I guess he was just overly scared of another 2 base all in after the game before rather than Monchi going the other way and hoping to get away with greed. Inferior is a strong word and not one that I would use for someone who just beat MVP. I would say that Monchi knew he was not going to be able to match MVPs end game macro, since he is the Game Genie Terran. You can't fault people who do not have access to the Korean ladder for taking risks. I think the whole situation of MVP being able to be beaten by these guys is just very sad for the game and when he streams and loses to jackthejasonbowler high master NA it doesn't help my mood either. I agree, a game where someone can dominate and then lose to random players loses interest fast, and is usually just a bad game. Theres a reason why there's no such thing as rock paper scissors tournaments. Game is a joke if the best player in the history of the game can lose to someone like monchi, sorry... The best player in Starcraft 2 history still has to play well to win. Mvp played very sloppy and lost. Just as he should have. And I say this as a huge Mvp fan. Exactly. I'm a huge MVP fan but his play thusfar has been very underwhelming. Nah, huge bw names rarely lost to random foreigners(even when they "played sloppy"), it was like the happening of the month, in sc2 it happens so often to players like MKP, MVP, MMA etc. it makes the game seem a lot less interesting, that's just the way it is. I have a hard time understanding this. Is it more interesting when the results of every match are basically pre-determined? I like seeing upsets because it means that every game actually matters. I favor skill over drama.

Actually this shows that you should not literally stack every single unit in your fucking air army right on top of eachother when facing infestors.

Nighend takes one map of MVP and Monchi advanves instead of him, exciting.

Just like they accepted before GSL October. Or before last GSL. Win one GSL and suddenly you're the best player in the world. Good logic. I remember when the thread monsters were slobbering all over Jjakji because of one fantastic run. Where did his other championships go? No, win 4 GSLs and you're the best player. That's the point, just because he doesn't win every single tournament he enters doesn't mean he's suddenly not the best player anymore. He isn't the best player anykmore because he cannot consistently beat everybody else, which is what the best player does. Honestly it's embarrassing when people just call x or y the best player, do they understand how utterly dominant you must be to be considered for the title? Mvp doesn't possess that dominance anymore. I don't think this holds. At any one time, someone must be best (by definition), even if we can't clearly tell who. However, it is not given that at any one time someone must necessarily dominate everyone else. Whatever happened to the first-among-equals situation?

Harsh truth from the loving boyfriend, Ret. Kinda seemed a bit to harsh, didn't really seem like she liked the comment either. Thought she was very good, found it interesting that she was the only one that mentioned fx. the 3 ravens that died(which is pretty huge)

that means u are never allowed to clump units ever in the game, since ur always facing infestors. guess why.

Except you can run out of storms. I find that a lot more fun to watch than a player getting a giant clump of air units held in place while he sits there waiting for them to die since he can't micro them anymore.
This isn't balance whine - this is "I find that boring to watch" whine

Hmm yeah, Flash has never lost a game against Dear. He is even on 100% winstreaks for the last 2 years.
they are saying it happens far less often, which makes it more meaningful Jaedong's overall winrate in BW is 68.5%, MVPs in SC2 is 64.66%. If Jaedong played in the BW equivalent of HSC, his winrate would be 100% I'm intrigued as to how you would translate HSC into a BW equivalent. Did foreigner ever take a game off korean in WSG ? I actually don't know if it happened but I guess it didn't There would be no BW equivalent. The scenes are too different to make a meaningful comparison to a hypothetical BW HSC. I'd say WCG is pretty close, actually. Mondragon AND PJ beat the Savior http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft/WCG_2007 And White-ra beat Stork it seems :o.
Neat but not as impressive as beating Savior.
This was the 2007 Savior, the last phase of his bonjwa-ness. Losing to two foreigners is ... a huge upset.
