Oh actually I want Nestea to win. He hasn't got the best stamina, if he loses here and has to win the final match he'll have a lower chance of getting through.

Looks like DRG got this. Big dronelead, +1 and infestation pit. NesTea won't get there in time.

Without commenting on balance, I do find it funny that people are complaining about zerg being OP when the zergs in question are NesTea and DRG. These are two of the top 5 zergs in the world, arguably, that we are discussing here. They were consistently beating Terrans throughout almost the entirety of SC2's existence. Correct me if I'm wrong (and I might well be, I'm not real familiar with Supernova or Ryung) but I think neither of those two Terran players have won a major tournament, while NesTea and DRG have lists of honors/awards/wins to their name.
I haven't played much SC2 recently and I was never real knowledgeable about the game to begin with, but I think balance discussions might need more accurate comparisons.

Yeah. This. Pretty funny how Terrans actually think Drg and nestea would be weaker then this 2 other terrans. They are the representations of zergs. While the terrans here are pretty meh in accomplishments compared to them

The main problem is not balanced, even if we admit zerg has a slight advantage (which I'm not really sure, it's surely less than terran's old advantage) the problem is boring matches. TvZ used to be the best match up by miles, it was back & forth game, terran keeping trading to keep zerg from getting to T3, fights all along the game etc Now it's just not the same & from a spectator point of view we lost a lot. Now it just seems that if the map is not suitable for strong drop play, zerg just have to trade inefficiently with banelings because he has so much more income & more tech incoming behind. At least this is what happened during the nestea vs supernova.

Supernova did 2 all ins in 2 games. The first being a semi all, the second being a all in. Supernova basically dictate what nestea should do. Nestea crashed his banelings to maruders because he has already won it. It was an all in. I don't get what you don't understand. He even brought scvs which died.

And why do you think a code S terran try gimmicky stuff like that? & again I'm not complaining about balanced, it's about boring matches.

Why did Keen do 2 rax rushes? You make no sense dude. Like seriously. People do it because if everyone plays macro, everyone will play like naniwa into a 2 base all in.

Terran have to surprise the opponent because there is no terran opening to enter even in midgame. The matchup is balanced around those cheese (including eco cheese). Ok the matchup is balanced, but it's not a great matchup. The matchup was great before, now it's not.

Some serious roaches hitting roaches action right now. Very tense. #1 micro unit. Nestea is making a lot of roaches and going semi all in. DRG is countering by making more roaches while maybe making a support unit that is good against roaches.

After all that explanation about how 'ZvZ is really exciting now' all we get is roaches.

I think it is possible to use pretty much one series. MC vs Puma at IEM Cologne just made PvT look broke as fuck.

Of course, it was that combined with the ridiculously low Protoss winrates for months that made Blizzard actually patch the game.

What happened? I mean the MC vs puma game. I didn't watch IEM

It was a Bo5. Puma 1-1-1ed on Xel-naga Caverns, failed his first push but it's such a small map that he could just push out again and won. Second game on Terminus, MC completely outplayed him but because Ghosts back then had radius 2 (basically 1.5 times the area that they do now), Puma rolled over the Protoss army without breaking a sweat. Then in game 3 on close air Metalopolis, Puma 1-1-1ed, MC did a blind Phoenix/DT counter build (that dies to any mass barracks play) with a base race and still lost.

Luckily the two things that broke the game (small maps and EMP radius 2) are now fixed.

Turns out DRG made enough roaches to hold. Nestea is in a lot of trouble unless he can make some roaches.

Actually I like ZvZ, getting an upgrade here, but sacrificing a few roaches, so many decisions that are so game-breaking without it being ridiculous

Oh wow, Xel-naga. Good lord I hated that map.
