I bet Thorzain sort of intro'ed that to him. After all, MMA has stolen and used Thorzain's builds before, I wouldn't be surprised if Ryung did too, considering Tzain is at SlayerS house.

Also people argueing about Terran being so good. Ryung won a huge broodlord/corrupter engagement and still couldn't push because he knew the reinforcements would have owned him. A few fungals and your complete viking army is gone if you fuck up once.
If Ryung would have LOST the air fight, Zerg could have immediately pushed him and won.

Artosis is right, Nydus Worms would have been great on Whirlwind.

...Where did i say that they are unstoppable? I'm just saying that just fungal is not enough to keep them from being effective.

Wow, I guess Ryung gets hit early in TvTs or something? Rare to see a terran with that low a win percentage at less than 9 minutes.

This is the first time I've ever seen the players of a race complain after WINNING a game.

Using that game as an example, it was 21 Vikings vs 28 Corrupters (last-checked ~5mins before the fight). If DRG had fungalled the Ravens at a distance too far for HSM, then the Corrupters would take so much damage if they were to move forward to pick them off.

and now Ryung is catching overlords...what the fuck is going on....this is insanity

I'm a zerg and I find terran tears delicious (if only as karma) but I find that attitude really stupid.

It seems like such a shame that live report threads just seem like a chance for everyone to vent balance whine nowadays .

Let's hope Browder / Kim were watching and taking notes.

Even for a game that was fairly epic it felt sort of slow compared to great games on other maps.

There's definitely merit to both arguments, but after that game all of us have seen the potential of what that map can look like. I still don't know where I stand, but I definitely don't dislike that map as much as I used to.

Ah. Ryung finally gets +1 weap. Good thing he realized, or things would have gotten bad.
