OMG, they compared him to Flash, don't tell the BW-nostalgiacs, or we'll all be flamed to death. j/k, Ryung's looking reaaaally solid today.

There was a time (and it's still here to some extent) when Protosses just a-moved -- regardless of whether your zealots were behind your stalkers or whatever -- because it worked for them. Once players start challenging zergs more they'll have to be more careful with their units.

I dont think that strat would work on smaller maps like Ohana and CK. Theres no away to keep avoiding the zerg army like he did.

Tbh DRG should still have a decent chance to take it. He won't make that unit comp mistake again on a map that's too big to fight anything for 20 minutes.

lol jokes.
Great play Ryung.
yes it is.
If this game show something, that's when a terran is very ahead at 20 minutes, you need to outplay your opponent like 20+minutes more to win the game ^^ Menwhile in toss or Zerg, if you are so ahead vs a Terran, just a-move+reinforce to win ^^

Also usually Terrans can't have all expansions as easy as that. DRG could have burrowed lings there, could have destroyed a PF with banelings when he still had the bank but decided to take bad fights... and in the end lose. Hey dude. What? What?? If DRG wasted 30 bane supply at lair stage to kill a PF vs a Ryung who looked to take every opportunity to push, what do you think it would have happened? Turtle in ultra mode. Go berzerk in Blord mode. How the hell could DRG have done anything when he made broodlords? How the hell could have he won if he did not make it? PF means you have to sac a good amount of lings/blings to kill it, even if there is no army stationed there. That leaves you really vulnerable to either counter attacks, double drops or both at the same time. Huge maps do not favour zergs. Medium ones do.
DRG had times with 5000/3000 or the likes of it banked once. Do you really think blowing up 1 PF does lose him the game? No it does not. He had enoug larvae before taking bad engagements and he didn't use his banelings good at all. Banelingdrops on mineral lines, blow up the PF. He had A LOT of options, but chose to play a maxed out slow army on the biggest map ever leaving all his expansions without defence.
He could have forced an engagement pushing the Terran main long before there were 6 ravens and plenty of ghosts at the time when he had tons of corrupters and broodlords. Also tell me how Ryung is supposed to push vital locations with creep covering half the map. The time the push hits, DRG has his complete army together again.

DRG played like fucking shit that game. no other way to say it.

To be fair, I really feel DRG made a wrong choice getting the BL, even before he made them. It's very obvious that the Broodlords would've gave Ryung a strong opportunity to cripple him.

How does HSM not the infestors help kill the infestors?

That TvZ opening is pretty good, might steal that for ladder :X

Yeah the real part that trips up T players isn't that T3 tech necessarily sucks, but it's extremely difficult and slow (much slower than a toss throwing down a templar archives or a zerg going hive) to actually transition into.
Consider that to go BCs, for example, the Terran has to invest in a bunch of extra starports, extra air upgrades, fusion core, and the longest build time of any unit in the game. Relative to that investment, BCs aren't really an efficient tech choice, most of the time.
