Taeja shows the potential to be it though.
Just needs to step up in GSL.
But still like you said, not even close.

Taeja microed his army perfectly the entire game. Vikings on hold position either above bunkers or above dead space. Repeatedly stims when they aren't actually engaging and when he doesn't have enough medivacs to recover the health. Sits army behind his third base. None of those things are "perfect" micro. The only impressive micro he did all game was the marauder lift at the end and that was pretty much just showboating. The game was massively disappointing because the player who was ahead all game suddenly ended up not ahead because the other guy attacked in to him and there was nothing he could do about it. That's why SC2 is terrible for someone paying so much attention, your conclusions are pretty fucking awful. in tvp the units that actually matter cannot be replaced after a max in time to get back. knowing this at a 5k ish resource bank, things toss needs to do, drops to cripple the other guys econ, not just 1 where they units afk attack the barracks. sack workers because duh add additional robos, 5k resources to warp in stalkers isnt gonna cut it. the list goes on and on, yongwha got to max and then didnt know what to do, 16 gates on 4 base max isnt enough and his upgrades, due to his build choice, werent good. there was so much wrong with how he played out the end of the game, now taeja made mistakes too but sc2 isnt a shit game because you dont like thinking about things beyond "hurr durr stimmed marauders killed stuff"

LOL That's got to be the biggest simplification of any game, ever. TaeJa has incredible decision making, something that is just as quantifiable to the observer and as important as macro or micro. I know you're disappointed that your favorite team is getting their ass handed to them by a 17 year old, but don't try to oversimplify and thereby discredit great play like that. Wowowowow..... Yonghwa could have done the LOLOOLLO A-move. But his decision making caused him to go back and let TaeJa recuperate. Watch the damn game. That game was not in TaeJa's hands.

Whenever a player has a winning position against him, they inexplicably drop the ball. weirdest thought.... Taeja is like the combination of the best parts of Stephano and Huk... @_@ nonsensical explanation: ridiculous fortune and seemingly instinctive understanding of the game, amazing positioning with occasionally sloppy macro, balls of steel... I don't see much or Stephano or HuK in Taeja. He reminds me more of Nony, to be honest.

I don't know if he's honestly scared of early game barracks plays, or if he's that confident in his zvt late game.
