first of all... wtf... if the toss simply a-moved in the final battle he would have won considering 30 extra zealots from his massive bank would warpin and join the fight soon... he backed off as vikings sniped collossi... wtf...
i mean taeja is the best but im not as "omg omg giddly" as everyone here im mostly just thinking wtf how can a toss player be so clueless he spent 2000 minerals in cannons right before the final battle then runs away when a-moving and warping in zealots would have let him win
taeja is impressive im not talking him down... just sayin that last game was no reason to drop your jaws I think Yonghwa had a good chance of winning earlier, but he played safe because in general PvT is very favored for Protoss late game; definitely with that advantage. Taeja just has incredible late game engagements and positioning. lategame PvT on Daybreak is definitely not Protoss favoured.

YongHwa did not and lost. He got to many colossi was traded out without having storm to thin out the terran ball.
The problem was the storm transition He had a small window to attack the third after which the deadspace meant that he would lose his collosi and with that his army would be traded with minimal damage besides mining time lost. He should have taken 2 bases in the time or had other tech going while he pressured there.

I'm predicting a natural hatchery will fall in the early game

well if taeja loses 1 game liquid probably loses anyways so unless he allkills it probably doesn't matter

Losira will be the one to take Taeja out, this is the guy that always snipes Marineking and wins.

taeja is impressive im not talking him down... just sayin that last game was no reason to drop your jaws Taeja has a better version of the HuK factor. Whenever a player has a winning position against him, they inexplicably drop the ball.
lmao good way to put it. I'd trade the HuK factor for the Taeja factor any day of the week.

Taeja microed his army perfectly the entire game. Vikings on hold position either above bunkers or above dead space. Repeatedly stims when they aren't actually engaging and when he doesn't have enough medivacs to recover the health. Sits army behind his third base. None of those things are "perfect" micro. The only impressive micro he did all game was the marauder lift at the end and that was pretty much just showboating. The game was massively disappointing because the player who was ahead all game suddenly ended up not ahead because the other guy attacked in to him and there was nothing he could do about it. That's why SC2 is terrible

His mistake, was failing the Storm transition. His mistake was trying to move out during it his colossi got chased and ate a load of viking shots making them weak and forcing a bad position for yonghwa, taeja had tailored himself to kill off that 6 colossi count which leaves his ground forces weak without them, had he sat behind the cannons at the 4th and finished it he could have launched an attack with storm and won but he just made that bad judgement on the location of taeja's army.

Keep trolling kid. Taeja held with style and YongHwa over made colossi. When you go up to 5, you can't rely on them for to long or the terran will over make vikings to focus them down. If you don't have storm ready to go, you can't recover. YongHwa did not do that and lost the game.

There was plenty he could have done. He could have got storm. He could have attacked Taeja when he was 50 supply ahead, but he choked. After that Taeja was always going to win because he is better player. Simple.

Team Taeja is going strong!

Holy shit, you have to go to page 3 to find the last time he lost a BOX.

I think Taeja is finally good enough to have that effect on people where his opponent get scared shitless when they play him so he has a double advantage.

It was not TaeJa who won that game
It was YongHwa who choked hard and threw
Please stop praising TaeJa so much. I love TaeJa too but that wasn't his victory This is unfair to say. Yes YongHwa choked, but he didn't choke through his own will. He choked because Taeja MADE him choke. When Taeja was about to lose his third, he managed to delay like a god. Like, positioning vikings so Young would have to move back for a couple seconds, than moving marines/maruders forward, lifting his cc to threaten a huge push, like Taeja managed to force so many moments where his opponets can make mistakes. Yes Youngwha choked, but don't take credit away from Taeja. Taeja did exactly everything he needed to to win that game.
Also, Yonghwa knows he is worse than Taeja. He wouldn't have choked versus TLO, or Jinro. Playing Taeja is probably very nerve-wracking

I think we'll see a huge 3-base ling bane muta bust, Taeja will hold it if he does damage early game.

LOL
That's got to be the biggest simplification of any game, ever.
TaeJa has incredible decision making, something that is just as quantifiable to the observer and as important as macro or micro.
I know you're disappointed that your favorite team is getting their ass handed to them by a 17 year old, but don't try to oversimplify and thereby discredit great play like that.
