Yeah, I agree. It's really stupid. If one player has only flying buildings it should be a countdown until that player loses, not to a draw. The only reason you'd hide you're buildings in a corner and wait for the timer is if you have no possible way to win. Cytoplasm did play that pretty badly though. F.ex. if he just left a overlord following the medivac with 8 marines in the top right and an infestor aswell he could've had his hive still.

you gotta remember dragon was playing here

I kinda enjoy that game

I agree that Apollo should not have said that regardless of the circumstances, but i refuse to accept that Dragon was not aware of the situation.

Would that be imbalanced as well? Its not like Cyto did play a draw here because Terran buildings can fly, but because he failed to keep 3(?) hatcheries alive, with a superior army.... and mapcontrol.
I would pay to see that happen with the forcefields.

He literally did not float his buildings anywhere until apollo said it. No he did it when he had no chance to win anymore. Dragon didn't know how many ressources Cyto had - there was still the very slight possibility that Cyto had banked 250 for a hatch and didn't want to spend it until all of Dragon's production was gone. I realize that's like 0,00001% possible, but still. Well, first world problem here, I think we will be able to get over it. If that was the case then Cyto would have just said no to the draw.... You guys are being ridiculous. There is no way Dragon didn't realize he could force a draw. 0% chance.
Well why the fuck did he not just fly _a_ building to the edge of the map earlier and not wait until the last second? Why risk it at all? 0% chance cmon man

Buildings should lose X health per second after > 1min of floating.

thats a valid point, even though i dont think it could EVER happen that way. What i dont like is the fact that one player CANT lose, no matter what, the WORST he could do was draw and i just dont think thats a fun thing to be in a tournament

Incontrol and Khaldor made that last game really good. Those kinds of games are perfect for Incontrol. I'm watching way more DH than I normally would because of these dudes.

I thought the game was alright, I think Dragon could have done well to kill some of the drones with his banshee to prevent more extractors from coming up.

Well his orbital was still alive so he could build units, after it was killed (at the same time as the draw was called) he flew his buildings away

1 pylon in a main base with a normal ramp with 8+ sentries inside. If the other player doesn't have drops or massive units then the toss can force a draw.

I agree - best line so far:
Incontrol: "you are really intelligent" Khaldor: "I'm German"
