Foreigners are good and upsets usually do happen, but lets not say foreigners are just as good as Koreans.

Take it you didn't watch RedBull LAN where Stephano beat Squirtle and Parting 3-1 and 2-0 respectively... stop cherry picking games to support your assumptions.

Oh the hypocrisy. Talk about cherry picking lolol. Stephano and NaNi are the only 2 foreigners there who have shown they can semi-consistently compete with that tier of player and vie for the top spots at tournaments when they are competing. ZvP happens to be Stephano's strongest MU also. Pretty fail.

Goody vs MMA G2 at MLG was one of the more one sided stomps in recent memory also.

In goody's favour.
Picking one game to make youR point is kind of lame. Stephano has beaten so many top Korean players and always places well in any tourney he enters

I did, which is why I said I can Stephano doing good. Read my post again.

Yeah I read your post again. I read the line where you said "even Nani and Stephano would be beaten by top tier koreans" which I can only assume is trolling being as Naniwa made it into ro16 Code S for a second consecutive time and Stephano has been rolling top Korean's for the last 9 months... stop talking utter crap.

.. that doesn't mean Nani didn't lose to Koreans. That means he won enough to move on. This discussion is weak.

i think we all know there are MORE absolute top level koreans than absolute top level foreigners (which equals europeans and potentially sen, sorry north americans). whether the top koreans are better than the top foreigners depends on individual matchup between players and races and their current shape moreso than anything else and is pretty much impossible to judge, so i'm not sure what the discussion is here.

That may be the first time in a major tournament in SC2 where in a group with 2 Koreans neither of them advance.
I root for Euro Zergs, NA Protoss* and Korean Terrans. (Any North American who has beat a Korean Pro as Protoss counts as NA Toss)

yea but your being a hypocrite cause you said "toe to toe" and use stephano as an example which is stupid because he does go toe to toe with them. he has beating mma, mkp, drg, mc, hero, puma, and jyp. you see one series and you count him out. it's like saying you see a series of stephano stomping on jyp and saing jyp doesnt stand toe to toe with these guys. please stop.

MMA vs Stephano G2 at IPL was, I believe, the game in which MMA realized he had to play really well to beat Stephano. From what I remember, Stephano took game 1. That and MMA's TvZ is his best match-up, he was dropping 4 places at once and because Stephano doesn't prepare for opponents, he was caught with his pants down.
I sleep more than koreans practice.

HEY! YOU! Get your logic and sound thinking out of here.

You're absolutely right.

LOL KOREANS WILL BEAT ANYONE ANYTIME ANYWHERE BECAUSE OF THIS GAME [insert 1 to 3 series to represent an entire career of a player, then use that player to represent an entire group of players]

Just kidding, FOREIGNER WILL DOMINATE KOREAN! [insert 1 to 3 series to represent an entire career of a player, then use that player to represent an entire group of players]

Cheers, have fun with this enthralling discussion of ifs and theoretical what nots.

But seriously, Huk 화이팅 !

Someone needs to do a Continental showmatch in the style of the GOMTV Korea vs the World showmatch of the past.

8 player teams - Best of 15. Korea vs Europe vs The Americas vs Everyone else.

Thats a 32 man MLG arena I would pay to watch, there booking for everyones flights already after all.

Abput the few terrans still left in this:

Gotta say that I'm surprised to see Brat_ok and Keen make it through! Good job! Looking at Puma's group it was a little bit to tough for him. Cyto's ZvT is really solid and vs Fraer the only korean terran I would bet on would be MKP and Polt. Fraer is a PvT monster. Going to be really interesting to see if Thorzain and Taeja can get out of their groups. I would not bet on it.

Huge fan of Empire Kas, The Destroyer of Worlds, The Machine, The Second Terminator, The Supreme Robot!

SaSe vs White-Ra in PvP could be really fun! Both of them can put up some unordinary strategies in PvP.
