Hopefully this actually acomplishes something other than further bogging down the LR with balance whine:
1) To everyone crying about Zerg's being OP after the Naniwa game, I'd like to know how much impact the OV speed / Queen range buffs had on that match. I wasn't able to watch the game, but the thread is giving me the impression that a lot of people got upset that Naniwa lost and hopped onboard the hate train.
2) While I admit that Terran is pretty underrepresented, they started off the tourney that way. Yes, they've gotten proportionally smaller, but the entire TvZ matchup recently changed, the early rounds of an open tourney are highly volatile (not only as far as cheese, but also as far as the actual player pool itself), and a lot of high profile Terrans aren't here. You shouldn't be surprised, given all that, that the Terrans aren't representedly as stronlgy as other races. If, despite all those things, Terrans had even representation, that'd represent some sort of gross imbalance.
Here's the numbers I'm basing this on:
Start of Tourney: 48 Protoss (38%), 30 Terran (24%), 45 Zerg (36%), 5 Random (4%) Now/Round of 32: 13 Protoss (40%), 5 Terran (15%), 14 Zerg (43%), 0 Random (0%)
P.S. To clarify my last statement in 2: I mean that if Terran started off at 24% representation, and then jumped up to 36% despite lacking a lot of good Terran players that could have been here, that'd probably be a bad thing. I'll admit that Terran is underrepresented at DHS2012, and I'm a bit surprised at just how hard it dropped, but I'm not surprised that it did drop, and even if it had stayed the same then it would still have been underrepresentation.
P.P.S. I'm not trying to comment on the balance of the game, but rather to state that the last patch isn't the cause of the problems we're blaming on it.

Don't imply Stephano is incredible. You'll get a bunch of un-named posters wanting to stone him for allegedly calling a lady by the insulting term of 'girl'. If Stephano ever went 'lol' during a game, there would instantly be a mob wanting to beat him to death with those plastic sticks they bang together in Korea to make noise!
Please just say Stephano is the best zerg. In his family. At DreamHack. Possibly. Anything more is blind fanboyism. Obviously.

no Nani just have to beat him 2-1 or 2-0 since he has beaten Keen and has better mapscores than Keen.
But then Nani PvP is a bit shaky as he has been dropping games to some no names in this tournament.

400euros is the medium earning in a country like ukraine, so it's easier to choose to be a pro gamer when u can easily live with some "little" cash prize (it was an example but it's why there are a lot of players of eastern europe)
btw events are in ouest / north of europe, eastern europe "just" have players, i won't call this "center of esport outside of korea"

I met fraer on playhem some while ago. He stomped me. I told him he's gosu.
His answer: "No."

slivko and livezerg are quite good They know nothing aabout the EU scene its hillarious. So saying lol instead of gg is shitting on another player? Wow. You acting out like that, is shitting on the players. i didnt talk about that one... sase called biGs a "random dude" while he plays on mouz and had quite good results a in the past. Furthermore, he said "that dreamhack is obviously easy because there is only a few koreans" - as if only koreans could play sc2 at all. i simply dont like their attitude. sase is even more strange in that respect than naniwa... just my personal opinion on him, i thought he was a nice guy before as well^^ You do realize they were joking, right? I don't think you should take anything said on the GD Couch seriously.
sase wasnt joking about that AT ALL. naniwa even tried to correct him "hey, biGs is quite good, he plays for mouz" sase: "no comment". just as he said "no comment" on GD's statement that HuK was often lucky in tournaments. Thats no joking, he meant what he said unlike GD whos obviously trolling 24/7

Im trying not to whine but zerg lategame looks kinda unbeatable for protoss right now, you basically have to hit a timing and cross your fingers.. And dont hate on sase, he didnt do anything, wtf oo If you think that's true you should watch Ace v. BboongBboong in the Up/Down matches. Awesome display of lategame PvZ: Ace v BboongBboong
Heard about it, no suscribtion though :/ But from what Ive heard Ace tore bongbong apart because bonbbong kinda let it happen and didnt really defend himself? I just think its weird that protoss "imba lategame deathball" cant put a scratch into broodlord/infestor because zerg basically spawns a second army on the spot and carriers take way too long. Naniwa was probably frustrated, he played super good in game 1 and survived some pretty bad situations aand in the end zerg just rolled over him and It just doesnt look like the zerg has to doo to much, Im not shitting on lifezerg, I dont know him, but zerg always seems a lot like "units in the face, what can you do", its lot like you flank or drop or use different spells, you just move your broodlords in, throw a few fungals, and protoss dissapears. Ill try to get my hands on that replay though, thanks

I immediately thought of that game when I tuned in to see the situation Naniwa was in. It felt like the only way he could delay long enough to rebuild; going head on against that BL army was always going to fail.
