I miss matches like jjakji vs leenock where leenock won with excellent mine using and engagements instead of just getting a few fungals.
I even miss the Queen vs. Hellion dance where Zergs and Terrans had to be constantly alert or the Zerg would lose drones and the Terran would lose map control if either fell asleep at the wheel.
I really hope Terrans find some way to meta-game the new meta-game, because it's really boring watching the Zerg just make drones for 6-8 minutes every game.
Of course if the meta-game shifts that means you have to nerf something instantly, you know, instead of giving everyone time to figure things out.

Terrans can't win everything brah. This ain't half a year ago. Actually, you are dead wrong regarding a draw. The draw happens in 5 in game minutes if no mining has occurred and no unit has been killed, and it is done automatically by the game, not by a referee. So "brah" get your facts straight, because if Keen had his SP or Barracks together with his 3 Vikings and kills/denies that Phoenix the would have forced a draw. And you believe that Naniwa completely zoning out for 5 minutes is a likely prospect? Also, Naniwa was consistently killing Keens units, buildings and even his own workers, only way he would've had a draw is if Naniwa had a heart attack. Brah. You fail to to see the big picture, there was a dead spot near Keen's base where the ground army can't hit from and only air units can attack. Naniwa would have killed every other building on the map then he would have been stuck for 5 minutes trying to kill 3 Vikings with 1 phoenix, and trying his best not to lose said Phoenix. Please learn your game and your maps next time... Yes, so if Naniwa had a brainfart and sacrificed his Phoenix he woulda lost? If he durped and killed his own buildings he woulda lost as well, both are not behavior you should expect from a pro, despite how much you wanted Keen to draw.
Dude, Phoenixes have only 5 damn range, Vikings have 9. Phoenixes have only 80 shields, 3 viking's worth of volley deals 60 damage, 2 volleys starts eating HP. Naniwa could only dart in and out of combat with the Phoenix 5 times before the Phoenix died unless Naniwa killed a Viking in the meanwhile. This isn't even a skill problem any more, its a math problem, and you sir just scored a solid 1 out of 10, seriously just think a bit before you post.

You joking right?? MKP vs DRG and Polt vs Stephano are one of the best games to watch even after the nerf. ZvT is still the best match-up to watch.

Lol Undead never saw the day they got buff until war3 died. Blade Master was so imba. funny thing is, I stopped playing before blade master was (re-)discovered...at that time everyone started with farseer - and orc always lost vs nightelf :/
Was that the buff with wind walk that make BM so good? Cant really remember.

The muta/ling/bling style is much more entertaining than the infestor style, which is much more entertaining than hive rushes. Over the last few months, the game has been switching more and more to the latter, making for less epic games. It might (or not) be more balanced now than it was, but from as a viewer I don't think recent changes have made the matchup more fun.
yeah I guess, the muta play was the awesome to watch, DRG still drops it now and again

I don't think a phoenix can do damage to a viking out of 3 without taking hull damage. Not sure though. If so it was a draw if Keen had realised.
Also, more importantly, I think he though it was a draw already, as he didn't know Naniwa had money for a phoenix, so gging then would've been stupid. It also showed in how aggresive he played with his vikings. So raging against Keen is totally uncalled for.

I think there wont be a patch, they will balance it through hots. No balance patch for 6 months? Doubt it. Lemme message David Kim. Brb.
Okay. The next patch will reduce Queen range to 4 and increase Siege tank dmg vs armor to 55 so that they 3-shot stalkers. Good changes imo.
