Yeah, and it would take two stalker volleys to insta kill it. Had he made that bunker from the start (when he saw the two stalkers), his position would have been better. But he played too greedly thinking his micro would be enough, bad choise.

They do that in perfect rows as well so I can count them easily. So, good point, scans always work ... Antiga main is small enough that you can get all the information you need in one scan.

Can't stand it anymore. Yeah too bad some people feel the need to whine about balance everytime a player of their race loses. Some of these people belong on the bnet forums. I genuinely think the live report threads get WORSE than the bnet forums actually. Shocking as that sounds. Seriously...a Terran loses to a Protoss all-in and suddenly "omg this shows terran early/mid isn't stronger than Protoss'". Really? *facepalm* Regardless I'm delighted for Genius. Easily one of my favourite players. Nothing is worse than the bnet forums. You get more reasonable conversation out of /b than the bnet forums. Anywhoo, hope Mvp can make it out of the group in second place. Genius done well to cheese him out. Mvp fanboy, but wp Genius. Looking forward to seeing who picks Genius up now that he's teamless. Also, to people saying Mvp is cheesy, Mvp plays to win. That's his truest strength and the reason why he is the 4 times GSL Code S Champion.

So tired of seeing brilliant terran players beeing forced into mainly cheesing or taking huge riscs because it just isnt viable to play long interesting games with terran. Mvp tries from time to time against players far lesser then himself but usually doesnt go so well. The hell is going on in that blizzard office? Cant you see the terran race is terrible? ![]() ^ @ PvT, just sayin'

That's what some of these whining MVP fans aren't realizing. It's definitely possible to hold that off if he had scouter/scanned/read that situation properly. A bunker on the high ground would have been finished if he had started it as soon as he saw those 2 Stalkers warp in at the pylon. Korean terrans don't like scanning, unless it's an observer, it seems! Edit: Which makes sense, but of course it's a risk (that indeed many are willing to take). humm doesn't scan toss base is not a risk in 1 base toss situations, the risk is to scan ! : -you probably won't scout nothing with one scan vs a chessy toss player who know how to hide things -you need this scan if he go DT -you need the more minerals possible to make bunker/rines/repair/wathever

Guys, MVP lost to 3/4gate blink as he had one ONE bunker and hasn't seen anything at all.

You people need to learn some respect, MVP is the best cheeser/macro/standard SC2 player yet, in any race. If you fail to see that its his decision making and game sense that make him so good you shouldnt even watch starcraft. You people could call Flash a 'noob cheeser' wtf (and im not even comparing them, Flash is obviously better at BW than MVP at SC2) MVP will cheese if he thinks it is his best chance to win a particular game. This may be because he believes a map or match-up is imbalanced or his wrists are sore. He is undoubtedly the best player in the game. MVP cheese with sadface buddy. He wants to play long games and let his skill come out and his mechanics and decisions extend over longer games. However he is terran and its not really viable to do that against either zerg or protoss considering how this game is designed ![]() He plays alot of zerg on ladder and regurarly beat players like MarineKing, Bomber etc ZvT. Hes pretty open about terran beeing poorly designed and very underpowered. You really have to own your oponent if you want to win in a longer game with terran, i mean completely outclass. Amazingly we have some terrans that show that supricingly frequently in korea. However the terran players cheese frequency is geting higher and higher as the competition gets closer, not because they want to but there isnt many other viable options. Even against inferior oponents you frequently see classy terran players cheese now a days.

T-Happy spawning 7 Z-Line spawning 1 Happy CC first followed by gas and barracks NOT* 2 rax. Line with a fast third base. Happy transitioning into reactor hellions with banshee, followed up by 2 more barracks, making reactors with his factory. Line morphing a lair while getting double evo chambers and, who knew, a roach warren ><

I still don't think he belongs in Code S at all but he's playing differently to just about every other zerg again.
