Since many Zergs follow the Stephano roach max in the early-mid game, and late-game is usually only lost if the Zerg doesn't split their Brood Lords, I am not surprised. I always thought Zerg would start to excel in the match-up once they learned to spread their Brood Lords.
This tournament looks just like my PvZ.
Yes but you can't look at this tourny and say "that's PvZ." the reason is the top 3 best zergs in the world are in this tourny, and squirtle, parting, and other great toss are not here, only MC is one of the top 3 toss imo

Even killing 20 probes at the 12 min mark... They just laugh at that. It takes them 1 inject to fix their eco.
Haven't won a PvZ that has gone past 18 min mark in 4 months. As a terran player I love seeing this type of reply from toss players. Welcome to the club bro GSL... I rest my case.
Sigh, every time, GSL

I honestly don`t get it. ZXZ is probably the most intense matchup of the whole game. Early game is based on pure micro. The best one with the best micro wins, simply as that. It`s not based on luck (some say it is, but in fact it is not if you scout properly) but on your own skills. I love ling / baneling fights, the decision making of each player to see how they can maximize the damage and stuff like that.
Mid game you need to find the balance between units and drones, really awesome again to see the decision making. What about mid-late game? Infestors play is AWESOME, and it`s even better when there are INFESTORS DROP or INFESTORS BURROWED, if you guys haven`t see that, give it a shot, It`s awesome and I hope we can see some infestor heavily playstyle!
ZXZ in a spectator point of view is just perfect. I`m not zerg and I`m high master terran.
easy: because there are no flashy units! No tanks shelling explosions everywhere, no colossi/stalker shooting lasers. no marauder shooting exploding rockets like the madmen they are, no zealots fighting with blades of light! :o Besides, ZvZ is the most volatile matchup, that is if you believe the Playhem statistic as a good representation of the state of the game.

Roaches are the most cost effective unit in the game. you can get so many out in very little time. As much as terran hates toss late game, toss hates zergs period. at least a terran can win mid game, toss can't win early, mid, or late game vs zerg.
Roaches are extremely supply inefficient, I love it when I see zergs going roaches - they are only decent for a limited amount of time until protoss get his super army out.

This tournament looks just like my PvZ. my words out of your mouth. and the 28,9% winiing of the protoss is just the immortal all in or a sloppy zerg. when you compare it to GSL results (75% winrate for protoss vs zerg) you see why you cant decide balance of the results of one tournament.

If you're not supporting via ads or ppv buys, you are dead weight. oh so there is a difference if i don't watch at all or watch a restream? you can maybe say that about restreamers. But i guess most of people that watch restream wouldn't have paid after all and are watching it only because there is a restream , i doubt they are "killing esports" Piracy doesn't kill esports. Just like it doesn't kill the sales of video games. The people who pirate wouldn't have paid anyway, they would have just went without. And that's the issue. The people who wouldn't have paid anyway, obviously don't find it worth their money. In that case they shouldn't get it. If they grew up and learned to make value choices like mature adults, we'd all be better off. Product providers would have to be more responsible if we were all informed mature consumers. (Because the opposite of the pirate is the blind consumer, who also hurts the market) not true if there was no piracy I would never buy broodwar of sc2 - never.. those games, football manager and PES series are only games I have ever bought.. if there was no piracy I would never know for so many tv shows.. piracy is killing e-sport? broodwar is still alive and all of the streams (and vods) were FREE ALL THE TIME and I just want to know does MLG pays to TLnet for free commercial? I mean, we have a link for a stream that costs 20$.
Ads and sponsors. Free is not what you think it is. Entertainment doesn't just magically fucking appear for your amusement. Supporting the things you enjoy increases the chances of you having MORE things to enjoy in the future.

But i guess most of people that watch restream wouldn't have paid after all and are watching it only because there is a restream , i doubt they are "killing esports" No actually. If you have a PPV event of this high quality, then people (if they can't get restreams) will want to watch so bad that they'll just realize its worth it for 20 dollars. Saying "oh, but I just wouldn't have watched" is a horrible argument because in reality all you contribute is an increased societal faith in restreams, and the willingness to hurt esports just for your personal pleasure. quote TB : If you pirate the stream, you're not a customer anyway so you're not worth paying any attention to. The kind of people that watch restreams either can't afford it in the first place so there's no lost sale there or won't pay for it in which case they were never part of your potential market anyway. There's so much shit that people would pay for if they couldn't get it free. They are potential customers, they simply don't pay because they can get it for free. That's an absolutely terrible argument. There's a ridiculous amount of people for example that have bought SC2 because they couldn't pirate it to play online. People have pirated a ton of shit that I'm sure they would have bought otherwise, myself included. And I would say this is the norm. People who say otherwise are often deluding themselves. All the pirating convo is irrelevant. Pirating has been going on, and will always continue going on. People can bitch and moan endlessly and it won't change anything. Just like the drug war, when there is demand someone will always supply. Completely useless trying to stop it, so why waste time/resources making it a big deal? The only reason that some people go pyscho over it on TL is because they have some kind of moral hard-on that needs tending to every so often.
I think it's completely silly to say you can't fight pirating.
If the government can trace you, they can find out, and companies can sue you for it. They've won in the past, what's to say they can't in the future? And by the sums of money they seem to get from these suits, they can even make their profits that way. Suing people. And that will lead to people becoming more scared, reducing the amount of piracy.
Both my roommates have stopped pirating simply because they're scared the government will crack down. So to say it doesn't have an effect is silly. Maybe you can't stop it, but I fully believe you can curb it.
