No tanks shelling explosions everywhere, no colossi/stalker shooting lasers. no marauder shooting exploding rockets like the madmen they are, no zealots fighting with blades of light! :o Besides, ZvZ is the most volatile matchup, that is if you believe the Playhem statistic as a good representation of the state of the game. hahahaha that is kinda a good point, but still.. i think zxz is the least "gay" matchup possible.... i still think its skill based purely

No venue, less staff, less setup, less equipment, no travel expenses for their staff (aside from you fine gentlemen), etc... etc... You know how they could really save, make them online tournaments, like every other league does for a qualifier. Then you don't have to charge 20 bucks to fly everyone in especially when you aren't hosting an event that people can come spectate and advertisers can show up. They would make plenty of money with a free stream and advertisements, and not spend all that cash on hotels/flights/ect...

Early game is based on pure micro. The best one with the best micro wins, simply as that. It`s not based on luck (some say it is, but in fact it is not if you scout properly) but on your own skills. I love ling / baneling fights, the decision making of each player to see how they can maximize the damage and stuff like that. Mid game you need to find the balance between units and drones, really awesome again to see the decision making. What about mid-late game? Infestors play is AWESOME, and it`s even better when there are INFESTORS DROP or INFESTORS BURROWED, if you guys haven`t see that, give it a shot, It`s awesome and I hope we can see some infestor heavily playstyle! ZXZ in a spectator point of view is just perfect. I`m not zerg and I`m high master terran. Zerg is always about unit/drones and Infestor play. Not just in ZvZ. Its not totally luck based, mostly the ling/baneling part. In general there is not much variation in the ZvZ gameplay. The only question is if someones goes muta or not. I like that the matchup is action-heavy, but from a strategical point its the least interesting.
