His standard PvP used to be so strong, then he seemed to hit a bit of a wall and now we keep seeing these complete wacky (double gas steal/nexus first) builds that look amazingly complex and then just die. I love creativity, but it's like he goes into it with confidence but just doesnt work against top PvP's. Is it a practise partner problem? Last I heard he and Hero practice PvP together, no?

Being able to defend rushes is a skill too, one that foreigners typically sorely lack since they have some mental block where they refuse to cheese each other and as a result never get practice against it. I agree... just wish the games were entertaining and both players played well

Naniwa has a greedy play style and got punished for it as he has many times in the past..gateway on 15? thats just needless risk , he cuts too many corners in his builds to try get ahead. That is the reason why he wins though. I don't give a damn what naniwa fans think, but naniwa basically goes all out econ heavy in the early game and has this timing windows that he does in the midgame, that is where his 2 base shines, its because of his econ heavy lead. If he plays standard without cutting corners I guarantee his 2 base all in won't be as strong and would be easily defeated.

Everything not a 3-0 or 3-1 for parting will be a big surprise for me. Using your eyes is deceptive, especially there aren't that many games you can see per season. How do you count someone out who has constantly been able to get into the round of 4 or higher nearly every season?

Like i see people posting on a daily basis "Naniwa doesn't know how to play macro games, he just goes for 2-base all in bla bla". MC has a lot more respect in the community. w/e man, It's just sad that he gets that much hate. "/ Either way, they both deserve nothing but our respect.

I disagree. Most cheeses are possible to scout or read, and if something looks suspicious a good player should take some defensive measures. Naniwa using probe scouting found the proxy rax and should've held in that last game but he didn't take it seriously enough. With rax so far from his main, MVP was clearly going to send more SCVs and not float them back and switch into a long game, so Naniwa assuming there were no SCVs coming was really bad game sense. Also, in Game 2 he had a chance to scout MVP's natural for a maka rax, something that is actually pretty common in series, but he didn't do it even though he wasn't being chased by a marine. That was again poor decision making. It would've been 1 extra rally click to take a look but he didn't think of doing it. Naniwa is a good player but he needs to practice defending rushes more, and also develop better scouting habits to improve his ability to scout or read rushes earlier.

I just can't bear anymore bad gameplay and yet took too much caffiene for this to sleep. Do you get commission or something?

The immortals were already at the 3rd location (after they destroyed Oz's pylon there) when Parting pushed out. Did you see how far the Immortals drove the Stalkers back? By the time the immortal died, Parting was in Oz's base. If he brought his Immortals back to base, the Stalkers would have rushed for Parting's main (if he wanted to go for the base trade), blinked on top of the immortals and kill them much faster.
