My bad on the range then, but Goliaths also have another key advantage over thors and that's their mobility. Thors are slow and clunky and you can't flank and do other sorts of important things with them that you can do with Goliaths. Dude, just because it's high level doesn't mean there can't be one-sided / boring (bad) games.
And "meh" doesn't even mean bad...

Infestor Broodlord almost requires Ghosts anyway because you need at the very least EMPs for the Infestors or the Queens if the Zerg brings them.
You need Ghosts, Vikings, and Marines altogether and if you're going mech each unit is a problem to produce.

Is anyone else having problems with the gom player?

You know that there are still skill differences within Code S? Some groups have better matches to watch, some not. He is not saying that GSL overall is bad, just compared to yesterday, todays games are a little underwhelming.

Isn't this what all Protoss want Zergs to do so they can pull of their only counter to the broods, aka the Archon Toilet?
(Okay, they can blink stalkers too, but I almost always see P going for that toilet. Makes me wonder if they drank the water somewhere questionable.)

ok so wait.
next match we're going to lose either MMA or nada to the depths of Code A?

This hasn't been a good season for Terrans so far with the notable exception of MKP.

Raven's are actually really powerful vs Broods, it's just really hard to pull off, one mistep vs the infestors and GG.

Having more marines , more tanks and more viking is almost everytime better than having Ghost in TvZ right now. Just get a better concave.

Seriously, lighten up. What are the smileys for if you don't use them. Now can we get back to the game? It's deja vu without the hellions. lol. Thanks for the heads up. Didn't notice until you pointed it out. It's not for using the emoticons though, but for using them without any other remark. My point is that i have stopped taking those surveys about the game seriously because majority of the posters will vote "no" if a terran loses. In fact I make it a point to watch the VOD (if I hadn't seen them) of the games voted no because I want to see how the terran lost. Are you really accusing TeamZerquid for being biased in favor of Terran? Thats a first. O_0 The topic was T v P Stop using emoticons. It's annoying

It's not normal zerg can safely get a Hive before 15min in my opinion. Normal TvZ is all about Terran pressuring Zerg. Nada played a passive macro-style and Leenock abused it perfectly. Terran can't go passive, neither against Toss nor against Zerg. Zerg can get early hive even against marine tanks pressure tho. Infestorling allow you to not waste any gas on thing you don't use in your lategame comp, it's just crazy efficient. Not with a mutalisk opening. There's so few people going Muta still. :/ Infestorling is just better if you don't get eated by drops. And map maker make you you don't ( I'm looking at you creator of Cloud Kingdoms... )
Your response was about punishing early hive. About Leenocks game in which he went for fast mutalisks (2 hatch, 11 minutes). You said its possible to get early hive against marine tanks with that. I disagree.
Infestorling is really irrelevant in that discussion

The second part of your post in general is why Terrans hate that unit composition.

Boring is not necessarily bad.
I never said high-level play couldn't be one-sided, and one-sided games can be interesting too.

What you just described isn't feasible if you open with mech. The only way for a mech army to defeat Infestor/Broodlord is with the help of Ghosts.
