My bad on the range then, but Goliaths also have another key advantage over thors and that's their mobility. Thors are slow and clunky and you can't flank and do other sorts of important things with them that you can do with Goliaths.

Not only that but they are incredibly expensive and take forever to build and considering they're the only anti air unit that comes out of the factory that's a big problem.

In general you're supposed to mix Vikings with mech in order to cover Mech's anti-air needs. But the crucial issue here is that Vikings benefit from a separate set of upgrades than the rest of the factory units do which is something that wasn't an issue with Goliaths.

TLDR: I miss Goliaths.

Zerg can get early hive even against marine tanks pressure tho.
Infestorling allow you to not waste any gas on thing you don't use in your lategame comp, it's just crazy efficient.

My point is that i have stopped taking those surveys about the game seriously because majority of the posters will vote "no" if a terran loses. In fact I make it a point to watch the VOD (if I hadn't seen them) of the games voted no because I want to see how the terran lost.
