Please have some respect for the players, teams, and tournament.
Criticism is fine, criticism without anything to back it up isn't so cool.
Thanks!

I don;t know, I like saturdays the best. Least downtime allows me to pick and choose from a lot of games I want to watch. I can watch toss all day and learn some cool new stuff like this +2 blink into expand THEN pressure.

I wish they could equialize their stream sound in a more basic way... the audio in general is very good (no feedback or unwanted background noice) EXCEPT for the levels of sound itself in loud-ass commercials and music. Of the 2-3 generic songs they play, some are twice as loud as the others and its very annoying adjusting levels constantly.

Has there been any report of how the match Stephano lost to Inori went?

If Idra was smart, he learned something watching that match.

hmmm wouldn't expect stephano to lose to either of those. wp by inori

No, JYP still has to beat ostijy or whatever his name is. Though JYP will probably win that haha.

If JYP wins he still has to beat Ostojiy to come 1st right? Or has that already happened and I missed it?

Whats with all these crazy claims of "DRG is best player in the world" and "JYP is best protoss in the world" ????

Wow, such ridiculous comments in this thread. Apparently MC has bad PvZ now, news to me with his 5-0 record against the ZvP chops of Stephano, pushed DRG to the limit at Blizzcup, many others that I can't recall to memory. He had bad PvZ in his slump period, but he was pretty bad at all matches in that period.

his zvp is bad, but these past months have been disgusting with how much weight people put into foreigner tournaments. Stephano beats whitera and grubby 20 times in a row and he's suddenly the best player in the world.

Then he beats Polt, a player who is in a huge slump and was in Code B before given a welfare spot, and he's suddenly Code S caliber.

MC beats Violet and Stephano and he suddenly has the best pvz. GSL performances are what matter. Playing 10 matches in a row against foreigners with the occasional mediocre Korean mixed in is nothing compared to the week long match preparations and the prestige of the GSL. Not to mention every player in Code S is better than every foreigner in the world. Beating sub par competition should not put you in the "best of the world discussion"

Alive is in this tournament. So is DRG and MKP-- world class players who are hot performing well in GSTL and GSL. Why these players are being overshadowed by hype foreign tourney heroes is beyond me.

I actually put more credance in the foreign events than in the matches where you can spend all week prepping individual builds for each player. I mean each style requires a slightly different skill set but I would rather see the results of skill level that the practice determined in a MLG or Dreamhack than the results of a week to figure out a build like GSL or even NASL to a lesser extent.

If heart loses its 4-1 for both heart and huk, and then since heart > huk he gets the tiebreaker over huk. Map score is only used to defuse 3way ties

you realize he won tournaments in the later half of last year right?

You realize that his play recently has looked like a complete abomination recently?

once again, that wasn't what i was addressing. he said idra hasn't been a strong player in ages. thats not true as in the second half of last year he was very strong.

You forget, 5 months = ages. Don't worry, honest mistake.

The only relevant thing is the now.

Whats relevant is what is actually being discussed, which was that it was said that Idra hasn't been a strong player in ages. The discussion wasn't about how he is doing now, k thanks.

It doesn't change the fact that whatever results you had are the past are just that. The past. In other words, you guys are arguing about nothing.

Never said past results were anything other than past results. Someone said he hasn't been a strong player in ages, and thats what my post was disagreeing with, so I don't really get the point of your posts.

I can say the same about your silly back and forth arguments with regards to what you define as ages and just how irrelevant it is when it comes to how players are playing right now.

That's the only thing you guys should be concerned with.

who are you to tell people what they should be concerned with?

If that's what concerns you, then you probably need to reassess what really matters.
