Please have some respect for the players, teams, and tournament. Criticism is fine, criticism without anything to back it up isn't so cool. Thanks! |

If you send your maxed out roach army to kill only buildings and than die yea you deserve to loose. Looks like he just got lazy when he maxed out and said fuck it lol.

Did anyone see an obs with JYP's army? It looked like DRG could have won with burrow micro, but maybe assumed the obs because he saw the robo.

Isn't that wrong? 1st round champ bracket is 25-32, or not? 24 from groups +8 from LB = 32?!

If Idra was smart, he learned something watching that match.

Saturdays are always so much less hype that Fridays or Sundays at MLG.

Weird play by DRG, Nexus is the most cost afficent tank in the game.

Well you know JYPs blink is what made that work. I also shudder to think of what would happen if JYP lost too many stalkers there If DRG had engaged JYPs forces at any point, he might have won. If he had waited for burrow move and attacked, he almost certainly would have. Instead, he targetfired buildings and lost all his units for almost zero stalkers. Exactly this.
Yup thats a major fear I have with regards to this max roach at 12 minutes or even thereabouts. Its just so so so powerful Im surprised More Zergs just aren't doing it or preparing for it properly.
Idra did it against JYP but never fought with his roach army all in one big clump so it didn't end well for him

So whoever places 5th in the pools automatically gets 1000$ minimum? Nice.

No hope. Heart has the tie-breaker over Huk, so he's first in the group no matter what.

well, hubris makes you lose. a-moving on equal bases doesn't work, obviously.

Apparently MC has bad PvZ now, news to me with his 5-0 record against the ZvP chops of Stephano, pushed DRG to the limit at Blizzcup, many others that I can't recall to memory. He had bad PvZ in his slump period, but he was pretty bad at all matches in that period. his zvp isn't bad, but these past months have been disgusting with how much weight people put into foreigner tournaments. Stephano beats whitera and grubby 20 times in a row and he's suddenly the best player in the world. Then he beats Polt, a player who is in a huge slump and was in Code B before given a welfare spot, and he's suddenly Code S caliber. MC beats Violet and Stephano and he suddenly has the best pvz. GSL performances are what matter. Playing 10 matches in a row against foreigners with the occasional mediocre Korean mixed in is nothing compared to the week long match preparations and the prestige of the GSL. Not to mention every player in Code S is better than every foreigner in the world. Beating sub par competition should not put you in the "best of the world discussion" Alive is in this tournament. So is DRG and MKP-- world class players who are hot performing well in GSTL and GSL. Why these players are being overshadowed by hype foreign tourney heroes is beyond me.
I never see GSL... I watched the vods of bw always on youtube as I do until now. But since you are unable to watch GSL this way, and the live stream times are horrible for europe, I ve no clue what is happening there or even who Alive is.
Instead I follow the foreign scene with persons I can relate to, and some weekends with big commetition and cool personalities and gg's.

Anyone else having lag issues?

Does it go map score and then Head to Head, or Head to Head then Map score in the event of a tie?
Because I think if Ret 2-0s Heart won't HuK advance in first place with the superior map score?
Edit: Answered
