Please have some respect for the players, teams, and tournament. Criticism is fine, criticism without anything to back it up isn't so cool. Thanks!

Dont even think you can say he is the best foreigner so defacto. He had some damn bad luck in the bracket. Dont even know how it could be anyworse than what he got.

Guy is obviously good, but people hyping him up as best ZvP in the world, code S etc. is just silly..... the hardest opponent he has beaten for his championships is polt. Now Polt is good too, but he's just another GSL average Terran imo... Hype train is pretty crazy, but stephano is really good, I saw him split 30 lings to kill about 12 hellions earlier today losing maybe 15 lings so it was pretty nuts off creep too I think perhaps his stamina isn't very high and he can't make it through the gauntlet of good players that is MLG

Even as a person who really enjoys Stephano's play and thinks that he is the best foreigner, there is no way that wasn't over-hyping. The moment they said it, I knew and feared that Stephano was going to get demolished, and really he did - he lost to the first good Terran he came across and the first good Protoss he came across. It's just two matches, and it is an upset. But that's because the hype train was running way too fast. And i would like to know how was is frame of mind for this competition. I heard his manager saying "anyway there s no chance to win this when you come from the bracket" so dunno.... But i may be biased :D

he gets stupid amounts of credit for beating players like white-ra, who isn't even a top 15 protoss.

Sure, the tournaments he's taking down aren't the strongest ever, but financially speaking, it's a lot better to finish high in a smaller tournament than to "do OK" in a huge tournament. Since he's playing to make as much money as possible, playing these slightly weaker tournaments is a great strategy IMO. And yes, he is very good (even though I'm personally not a big fan).
