Please have some respect for the players, teams, and tournament. Criticism is fine, criticism without anything to back it up isn't so cool. Thanks! |

2 fan fav's favored to win the whole thing facing elimination in round 8 of 9 lower bracket rounds before even reaching the Champ bracket let alone the end of Saturday Favoured because they're fan favourites. In reality? This is no upset. It is an upset. Everyone saying otherwise doesn't follow the scene. Put HuK into the open bracket and not into the group of luck and lets see if the all praised player can be top 6 as well. Its just blatant bullshit to call Stephano hyped now, because he lost 2 series in total, to Polt / Inori.
the same OB is just that hard

I'm only watching these interviews to see how jacked off his face Clutch is on the party powder. I too have grown to dislike Day9. He's pretending like he doesn't think that he's the greatest guy ever; or the king of "nerds", while still thinking he is just that. And he's bad at pretending. Have to give it to him he has helped SC2 grow a lot though but I can't stand the guy.
this and the fact that he reminds me of that annoying kid in class back in high school.
maybe that's what other sc fans can relate too, but i personaly would rather watch a different caster

To be fair, Stephano would have to literally self-propel himself to the Moon in order to live up to the hype.

It looked like a lot people on this forums didn't know that

Artosis proclaims a new Protoss as the best in the world every week or so. Parting's PvT style is very slick, but i'd still not quite rate him as the top PvT quite yet. I agree. No doubt he is good, and I love his macro-based PvT. But it's too early to call him the best PvT.

wow stephano.....his unbeatable aura has been wore off this tournament.

Stephano was over hyped prior to this MLG because Wheat and Scoots called for him to win the entirety of MLG from the OB. Even as a person who really enjoys Stephano's play and thinks that he is the best foreigner, there is no way that wasn't over-hyping. The moment they said it, I knew and feared that Stephano was going to get demolished, and really he did - he lost to the first good Terran he came across and the first good Protoss he came across. It's just two matches, and it is an upset. But that's because the hype train was running way too fast.
