Please have some respect for the players, teams, and tournament. Criticism is fine, criticism without anything to back it up isn't so cool. Thanks! |

Ok, we should move on from the topic of ostojiy and discuss why this guy isn't banned yet.

I too have grown to dislike Day9. He's pretending like he doesn't think that he's the greatest guy ever; or the king of "nerds", while still thinking he is just that. And he's bad at pretending. Have to give it to him he has helped SC2 grow a lot though but I can't stand the guy.

Has anyone ever solved the issue with stream keep getting black after commercials?

Why are people hating on everything possible, ever, at any tournament? People cheese, deal with it. Rules are followed. Deal with it. They interview people, the interview is about the person they interview. Deal with it. Jeez, getting really tired of the constant complaining. The event is awesome, and I really like that they fill the breaks with something interesting, rather than the same two dubstep/trance shit tracks. Besides, Day9 is awesome.
People hate on everything possible, ever, at every tournament. Deal with it.

Looking good for Ganzi, sitting 2nd in the group right now with a 2-2 and one more TvZ, his best matchup.

The issue is that Alex has sources that say he was the instigator about getting the free win, not "offered" it. I don't have much respect for a person that tries to win games without having to play them. That's the point of a competitive sport, for people to play games against each other, and for tournaments to host good games for us spectators. I don't find that very sportsman.
But fine, we'll just watch ostojiy self-destruct all over his pool, instead of a player that could have brought us some pretty good games.

So blame the admins? They have the ultimate power, not Ostojiy. It's well within a player's rights in MLG's rules to request or accept a DQ in the event of a no-show or a tardy, blame the MLG rules.

In theory, that's true, but in the same way that Puma 1/1/1'd his way to tournament victories due to it being the best (imbalanced?) build at the time, he did pick up a ton of anti-fans. (me included) Regardless of whether Ostijiy's move today was right or not, his reputation will have dropped with a large part of the community.
I suppose it's a difference of opinion then. I didn't hate Puma for his utilization of the 1/1/1, I don't hate Ostojiy because of his utilization of MLG's rules.

Do what it takes to fucking win within the boundaries of the rules. It's not very different then shitting on a player for all-ining because he's denying a potentially better player from advancing. Be mad at Puma for not being in pools, not at the guy who advanced over him.

Nobodies crying. I am actually enjoying to see the guy roflstomped in a most dishonorable fashion possible. And I am not even an EG or Puma fan... just a sportsmanship fan So yeah all fine. That someone who's name I dont even remember got where he does not belong, now hilarity ensues. it's depressing how you can draw pleasure out of someone losing at a pc game but whatever gets you off brah
You are really in the wrong place to post stupid things like this. A lot of people here care about what is happening if anything for their own enjoyment.

Holy shit! WHY THE FUCK WOULD ANYONE WANT TO PLAY PUMA IF THEY'RE ALLOWED TO TAKE A FREE GAME
Was it a dick move? ABSOLUTELY! Was it the right move? ABSOLUTELY!! If EG doesn’t like it, THEY SHOULD SHOW UP ON TIME AND FOLLOW THE RULES OF THE LEAGUE THEY’VE BEEN PLAYING IN SINCE 2010

I dont think EG, or any other proteam would willingly give up an advantage like that in such an important match.
I don't think cheesing players better than you is that sad, but obviously I'm not ecstatic about beating him in that way. Game 2 my mouse was glitching so I was tilted and just went all in.
Anybody who blames you for taking a free game over Puma is just being ridiculous. It was the obvious move to make in that situation.
