Please have some respect for the players, teams, and tournament. Criticism is fine, criticism without anything to back it up isn't so cool. Thanks!

Sure, it's a bit of a dick move, but not exactly something back-handed or whatever. If Puma and EG didnt want this to occur they should have been on time. he could have been a good sport and not taken the walkover when it was optional and puma was 2 minutes late

Naniwa and Stephano are both American players, what are you talking about?

I mostly only watch the GSL and the IGN proleague, sometimes some of the IWM matches as well. Thorzain just seems to win in the team matches.

It just shows you even in grand masters and professional starcraft 2, there is such a gap between top tier korean professionals and top NA professionals. I don't think people are forgetting anything, just giving him shit because they have no respect for him.

What I notice players like Thorzain and some Koreans do versus gateway armies is making sure their marines get to deal damage through high DPS which you'd lose by kiting or "microing". Thorzain is extremely good at positioning his army to get the most out of his units, not only microing. I noticed this too when he was killing MC's 3rd in game two. As he moved in he pulled the marauders out in front so even if his army gets FF'd in half his higher dps units stay alive.

Would you decline the walkover vs a high level Korean terran? No. Not to mention he won one game, so whos to say that he couldn't of beat Puma in 2 games? i suggest you find alex garfields post on reddit where Ostojiy was actually giggling and hoping for the free win.

Seriously, though, except for that whole 2min thing, maybe we shouldn't judge Ostojiy's play by that last series too harshly. He was ZvZing the current Zerg Overmind.

He demanded a walkover from the admins, Puma wasn't way later than 2 minutes, though it was more. And people generally dislike cheesy players. So it's not really unexpected that he didn't pick up loads of fans.

I think people should calm down the hate until there's time to see what happened. MLG has always been extremely strict on FF games for delays.
