He's not just a two base timing toss Could you name the games, where he did not go for a heavy 2 base play? In the case of this game is was behind from the beggining so he had to do sth to get back in the game (nerchio is not a scrub). I have to agree that he likes 2 base play, but considering his winrate at this I wonder why would he bither stopping....

basicly it says that socke is not out. ^^ holy shit. that would mean socke advances!
and that would be AWESOME, if it is according to the rules.

I think MC adheres by the philosophy of, "why go to a macro game, when you can kill him with an early/mid game timing attack?".
We know MC is capable of macro games, we've seen it at NASL season one and at IEM Cologne last year. Its just, after those tournaments it seems he has focused more on his timings and early game. I'm quite sure he is still capable of doing a long macro game, its just, almost no one has survived his early and mid game enough for his macro to surface again.

does anyone know what's happening with Strelok vs MMA? been showing 1-0 to MMA for a long time now.

We've seen it in GSL this season as well

MC just does not lose to foreign zergs. he only lost 1 time in a LAN, to Sen. (I don't count vs idra since technically the series ended 2-4 :D)

They probably didn't play the last game as it was unnecessary.

how random is that. I mean why override your rules for one event???
now I am angry.

Nerchio likes to block the nat like that (That's why he 12 scouts) and get 6 lings to go straight to the toss's base cause a properly placed cannon will kill off the evo and you just attack the cannon with the broodlings + the 6 lings. I've never seen him do it versus someone as good as MC but I hope he can pull it off in this series.

stream keeps lagging... any way to fix?

Socke is out. check here:
http://eslgfx.net/media/de/news/2012/masters/hanover/IEM_WC2012_Additional_Rules.pdf
the most important part:
"Ties In the following section, rules for cases where participants are tied by points are explained. If after all listed steps the participants are still indistinguishable, a decider match or matches (possibly in a shorter best-ofmode) are played, in an attempt to separate the participants in question. In special cases, the tournament direction can rule on a different way to determine the order in an unsolvable tie (i.e. coin toss). • If two or more StarCraft II players are tied by points, the following criteria apply. If at any point the number of still tied participants is reduced or divided into several groups of tied participants, any remaining ties are solved by starting at point 1 again. 1. overall map difference 2. overall numer of won maps 3. points among tied participants 4. map difference among tied participants 5. number of won maps among tied participants"

MC, showing us how to abuse FF since 2010. Close by air, he totally wasn't prepared, he saw the warp prism, should have some units rather to snipe the sentries. Foreigners' mechanics and overall game strategies are on par, but the Koreans really shine in terms of decision making and crisis management. Koreans micro a lot better.
Hmmm I phrased that a little badly, should have said I have seen some foreigners occasionally reaching or coming close to the Koreans' in strategies/mechanics in some games, but I have totally never really seen foreigners coming even anywhere close in terms of crisis management and decision making of the Koreans. Maybe Thorzain?
It the far superior crisis management and decision making that allows the Koreans be able to crawl back after being placed behind, hardly (difficult to recall one) see Foreigners being able to climb back from a deficit. Yet for Koreans, whether against another Korean or a foreigner, have always the potential to bounce back.
