The difference between IdrA and Stephano is really one in mentality.

Stephano is arrogant, and shows it in his play.

IdrA is arrogant, but his play shows a lack of mental strength.

Stephano is decent player with an exciting style, which is far more than I can say to the huge majority of foreign players, let alone zergs. Koreans love him with a passion. This guy is real deal man.

Oh for sure, he's one of the best foreign Zerg, but has he beaten MMA, Ganzi, DRG, Genius, MC? Much less consistently? Naniwa and Thorzain got hyped to extreme and we saw what happen to them in Korea. Hell, people still say Idra is one of the top Zerg in the world even given his dismal recent results.

Doesn't take away the fact that he's a great player who has shown he can take down the likes of MKP and Polt according to TLPD results, but to qualify for one of the best in the world, he needs to beat players who are the very top, not toy with Mana, Real, Elfi...

Fanboys, eh. It's weird that Stephano and Idra managed to get so many of them. How strange that so many people who think either Stephano or Idra are top Zergs are from either France or NA, respectively.

MC has also beaten Stephano 2-0 at HSC3 and 1-0 in BlizzCup, as well as destroying him when they met on ladder when Stephano went to Korea.

HSC3 was more than 6 months ago, Stephano wasn't even a full time pro by that time. Irrelevant.

HSC4 Stephano was drunk.

Ladder, I watched almost every game of them on the ladder and they were 2-3 overall. (I'm not counting MC's offrace by mistake).

Blizzcup was an unexplainable allin by Stephano on dual site.

I still think MC got Stephano's number when it comes to 2base all-inning him, but your examination of their previous encounters is dreadfully biased at BEST.

And your examination is just a bunch of lame excuses at best...

Cool, have it your way and keep claiming that Stephano's just some trash foreigner that just beats foreign players and until he 4-0 MC he will be worse than the most mediocre of the codeA players then. Have fun.

Nobody is claiming that.

What are you reading? Everyone has.

"What? He's 29-0? So what? Did he beat MC? NO. Overhyped foreigner".

"Easy to win 30 vP in a row against trash players like these."

"If this was Genius, and that was Parting, and he was MC, and those were Oz and Puzzle, he would have lost".

Every single one of you is acting genuinely irritated by the fact that Stephano beats players.

once could arghue about the oz part, but genius surely would have stomped him

And everywhere that speaks actual english (as opposed to american) pronounces it pew-ma. Which is... everywhere except for USA/Canada.

I don't know why people wouldn't say he's one of the best zergs in the world. Boxer said he's Code S quality after IPL, MVP said he's Code S quality after Blizzard Cup. He's not exactly proven in results against top players in tournaments, but top players have already acknowledged his strength.

How many top zergs are there in Korea anyway? Nestea, DRG, Leenock. Maybe Lucky and Curious as well, and Stephano has already crushed Lucky, who said he's a great player as well. It's not difficult to consider him one of the best when there are so few zergs at the very top.

Hey, hey! Scotland has tons of great players. They are just underground and haven't shown all their potential yet.

Plus every time they have played they've been drunk, it was right after exams or they did some weird cheese that just wasn't like their normal play at all.
