haha i play protoss and the fact toss can switch that fast...and do what he did...should scare people...

Jinro got the perfect scout which is all u can do in beginning game....and elfi coin flipped (aka SC2) and it worked like it usually does....

its not a protoss thing...its a SC2 thing....scouting is irrelevant when u can swap tech almost immediately

feel really bad for Jinro, he played pretty well trying to get back in that game, after fighting soooo hard in the 2nd game, but that attack at the beginning was just too much to overcome. thought he might be able to do it when his banshees got like 700 kills, but it just wasn't meant to be.

It's rather silly to make balance statements on the basis of a series where both players did not play to their own full potential, let alone the full potential of their races. Jinro's build g3 was going towards a 2 base tank/marine/banshee push or contain, which got destroyed by elfi's early pressure and there's no recovering from that.

I totally agree. It is stupid to think he wanted to get lucky with a nuke, it was all tactical movement and a strategy to control space. Sure Jinro made some smaller mistakes, and so did Elfi. But it is laughable to see all those people calling it a terrible game.

Elfi had some very good decisions for example when he managed to kill the planetary 2 times in a row when jinro was out of position, good reactions to nukes and had very nice army micro with zealots in front and hts out of emp range etcetera.

I understand that he was trying to control space, but he wasn't doing it very effectively. Watch MVP use defensive nukes against Lucky for example. He doesn't throw nukes everywhere at random, he uses them sparingly to continuously drive back the deathball. Jinro was constantly wasting nukes when Elfi wasn't even considering moving out.

Also, considering Elfi's previous play, I think drops would have worked wonders even in late game.

No terran ever can play as good as Mvp in a tactical nuke based game. It's pointless to compare

i think thats his point. The fact that so much more could have been done with that strategy means that it wasnt that good of a play by jinro

So if you can't play as MVP it's not good play?

MVP Consistently loses TVP.. its his worst matchup by far.
The problem was jinro got very unlucky.. jinro was actually playing very very well.. you're suppose to take risks vs protoss but game 1 and game 3 he just got BO countered... nothing u can do... I feel bad for jinro... it's really upsetting to lose the series after his play in g2

Those games were absolutley not BO win. He just played too greedy. Its not the same thing.
