Blame the rest of his team that lost, he got three kills. Look at the big picture.

okay that's true.

But it takes a sort of special fail to not get detection against inca.

Mind games. Who will go for something so predictable in the ace match? asks Puzzle. Well I do, answers Inca, I always do!

whoa, maybe I'm behind on time, but that bracket makes no sense to me. It's showing FXO losing twice already (including direct lost to Slayers), but they're now in the same spot as Slayers?

They lost to slayers in ro10 but won zenex in the loser bracket so now they're facing each other again

But from your wording, you're saying Slayers put them in the Loser's Brackets already, then they lost to MVP, so shouldn't they be eliminated (they lost in the loser's bracket)? or is this a Triple Elimination format or something? (hence why it makes no sense to me)

You get to lose one game in every round. FXO lost one game in Ro10, then won the next and made it to R08. Now they've lost in Ro8 and so have one more chance to make it to Ro6.

The Ro8 is actually the Code S group format (winner vs winner, loser vs loser, winner vs loser etc.), but was put into bracket form to make it more visually appealing.

But according to the brackets, if Slayers wins their next match against FXO, they are still in line to be eliminated next round, so your point about getting to lose one game every round isn't true. Or am I just mistaken about something

It isn't because a protoss player made DT's

It's because INCA made DT's. That's funny if you understand context, but apparently you don't.

You're wrong. I get howit is funny but I still don't get why this player should be rewarded for doing so. EVEN more if it is his only strat !

Each round serves to eliminate ONE team from each side of the bracket. If you aren't the worst team in the bracket you don't get eliminated.

yeah it came out wrong. i meant P has too much of a possibility of winning from such a versatile tactical decision. i obviously didn't mean 'unscouted-imbalance' or anythin of the sort.
a 6gates all-in comes too fast and too strong to be properly countered, that's been proven a lot lately. and what's even more saddening is that it works equally well against t and z

The truly genius thing is, InCa rarely goes DTs in PvP and mostly goes for Blink transitions.

On a map that doesn't really give DT-opening an advantage, and in a match that is so pressurized, Puzzle wouldn't think for a second InCa would go DTs.

InCa mind-gamed him even more, by going Phoenix opening against Squirtle, showing that he is adept at executing multiple builds in PvP... which completely counters Robo opening, so he would've won if Puzzle played safe.

Not really no. How about you scan the natural, see there's no gasses/probes being made and build bunkers?

Seriously you are just still balance whining only you are putting a little more effort in this last post. Besides what's the problem with a build that works in every matchup? Is a Cloak banshee opening op because it can do lots of damage to P, T AND Z?
ModeratorProtoss all-ins are like a wok. You can throw whatever you want in there and it will turn out alright.

Inca plays the long game.

He goes DTs every single match until it really matters and then totally throws his opponent off by going DTs again. Then, when everyone knows it's his style and knows what to expect, he confuses them by still going DTs.

What a fucking boss.
