Is it possible to spawn in close positions on this map?
Nah, just close air or cross.

Not sure. 1/1/1 has so many variations, some hit early, some hit really late.

Artosis confuses me sometimes So by your logic polt is better than MMA. but anyone with common sense knows thats not the case. Umm MMA has played MVP in bo7, bo5, and another bo5 in Geforce ProAM defeating him CONVINCINGLY every time, with the only time that MVP won was at MLG where he was already ahead in extended series anyway.... Also these were all pretty much during MVP's prime. If ur saying MVP was better then he should at least have won some of those sets right? Or at least make them close( which they were all one sided ). The Polt MMA games are pretty much one series of build order, where MMA wasn't even in his prime form and Polt has just sunk into the abyss. Polt hasn't sunk anywhere he's likely the second best terran in the world at the moment. lol... Don't overestimate the GSL. Look at the other top terrans and do a comparison, Polt has beaten MK and Fin recently while both Mvp and Bomber is slumping... K... so Polt beat MK and Fin and suddenly gets hyped over MVP and Bomber, and it takes MMA 2 titles and code S to achieve the same hype Well obviously MMA was that good a while before he won those titles. Same with NesTea, he didn't get enough credit during the GSL 2 but instead he's become increasingly hyped after winning his GSLs. (Mvp is an exception to thisrule, he was actually hyped up long before he won anything but this was to some extent because oof him being the best BW player to switch over) People paying more attention to titles and achievements instead of watching the games are usually slow to catch on...

Map just needs to be removed. yes 111 is sick on that map im surprised he didnt do this but this immortal push looks just the same on any map right? Well the angles and the area of the engagement is a bit different on other maps, which helps out the Terran in their defense. The position of the natural on Crossfire is just terrible, especially for the Immortal/Sentry push. Able to wreck the front while forcefielding the ramp at all times. The push might be a tiny bit too strong, but I think we need a larger sample of it in the GSL to tell for sure. I have definitely seen some Terrans hold it with ease, but I can't think of which maps I have seen this happen off the top of my head.

I'd definitely say it was at least a semi all in, he cut probes for a long time at 36 or 38. He only started probe production / teching again after he'd done enough damage to force MMA back into his base

It seems like 4 bunkers is easily died to this push... Umm, bunkers are VERY bad against this, you need DPS most of all. If the protoss pushes in correctly at the right angle getting some bunkers up really doesn't do much because they do in like 1 shot to immortals. It's better to make a bunker walloff and have all your units behind tbh. Then, toss just forcefields to cut your army ![]() Flanking might be worth trying. then he forcefields away the flank and just kills the other half? I didn't say it's the solution. And you can retreat if he forcefieds one half of your army. This push is not so good once the protoss has no more forcefields no? The problem is he forcefields your ramp so you can't get all your reinforcements down, and he can kill everything at your natural (all scv's, whatever is of the army there). Afterwards he can go into your main and forcefield your ramp behind him locking your army outside. Then he warps stuff in at home to defend while dealing as much damage as possible. Simply put, when the ramp is in a position like that, you want to engage the terran away from your main and natural. You don't want to engage right in your base. Or you want to go all in before he can (ie: 1-1-1). Ah but when the ramp is that close to the entrance of the natural it's a whole another story. I know it since I'm a zerg. I'm speaking from a zerg's perspective though, in ZvP flanks works wonders. The main difference is when zerg flanks, they either use melee units or the roaches which don't get decimated by zealots. Terran flanks, gets forcefielded out or in and gets destroyed by zealots.

The timing is basically the same, 9-10 ish minutes. Sometimes 6-7 gate hits faster though, depending on the variation and openings.
