You don't understand the point.

Vikings only counter colossi (ignoring the stuff like vrays and carriers that tosses don't make in this mu).
Colossi counter everything on the ground. ESPECIALLY if the toss has anything on the ground to tank shots from the infantry.

It's not a fair counter system. It's a lot better than corrupters vs colossi, but the toss still has the much better deal.

yeye its for sure tank shut this down, but does that mean terran must go tank every game vs toss or what?

Its still a coin-flip in the early game, just trying to think of a solution to this push. Works for me, but Im a noob!

ya ok just making sure. cause i found out these problems 1 year ago back when i was terran fulltime and couldnt stand tvp anymore because there was too much coinflipping. but then everyone told me iwas wrong etc for such a long time but only now its starting to come forth what i was talking about back then xd

Yep, too many "he is proving to be the best player in the world" comments after every single game he wins


He's a GSL champion (twice if you count blizzard cup), he humiliated MVP the last time they met, he walked through his first Code S group as if he was asleep.

For someone who performs as well as he does he's incredibly underhyped. Tastosis started out saying they expected MMA to lose and drop out of this group.

His T v Z is untouchable and his T v T is amazing. He just happens to have a T v P weakness.


Exactly I think it is perfectly fine for people to express beliefs on who the current best player in sc2 is at the moment. No one hesitated to call MVP the best after he won his first championship, why should MMA be different other than the fact that Artosis hates him for the most part.

Ghost reduce your overall army by a huge lot if you get them soon enough to have emp for when the push comes, it's been tried out, I don't know what to say about those games, maybe MMA should've made 15 bunkers just to make a point.

Yep, it's annoying how coinflippy pvt feel sometimes, from both sides.


That's why the 1-1-1 all in is the only build worth doing against protoss. 1 rax FE can be easily countered by some unforseen cheese. 2 rax rarely works and usually just puts you behind.


can't wait for HOTS, maybe Terran will get their own easy-to-micro super efficient army :p

Ok. Terran goes 4 rax after 1rax FE and goes mass marines and 6 bunkers. Maybe can hold this build now. However, observer gets to T base and P adds a Robo Bay and pushes with 2 Collosi, it just seems like Protoss can viably take this build to scare Terran into 1 basing (so that they are aggressive before it's timing) or into mass marines (which are just as easily countered once the obs arrives). Hmmm, what am I missing here? It's not viable on all maps?

Well, maybe you guys are right, but have you ever tried targetfireing colossi with tanks? They fall so fast! I always do this, and it works like a charm for me, then again Im far from a GSL player^^

According to OP:

Oz 1-2
Supernova 0-2
MMA plays winner of Oz vs. Supernova in next set

So if Oz 2-0s Supernova (putting Oz at 3-2), then it may get interesting, or if Supernova 2-0s Oz (2-2), then it may too...

But I think MMA is still in pretty okay shape, no?

It's not even an all in and is still stupidly that strong, he had his second base and was building colossus.
