Not sure. 1/1/1 has so many variations, some hit early, some hit really late.


It was protoss 1 base into 2 base behind the first attack, it's not even all-in.

1/1/1 is just as powerful on that map, can't really complain. Map just needs to be removed.

Except I've seen people hold 1/1/1 in crossfire, and the terran actually has to go back and forth and try to micro with the banshees, they don't drop 3 forcefieds, attack and go do the monkey dance.
I like the part where sense is considered a common, settled thing.

Umm, bunkers are VERY bad against this, you need DPS most of all. If the protoss pushes in correctly at the right angle getting some bunkers up really doesn't do much because they do in like 1 shot to immortals. It's better to make a bunker walloff and have all your units behind tbh.

I didn't say it's the solution. And you can retreat if he forcefieds one half of your army. This push is not so good once the protoss has no more forcefields no?

The problem is he forcefields your ramp so you can't get all your reinforcements down, and he can kill everything at your natural (all scv's, whatever is of the army there).

Afterwards he can go into your main and forcefield your ramp behind him locking your army outside. Then he warps stuff in at home to defend while dealing as much damage as possible.

Simply put, when the ramp is in a position like that, you want to engage the terran away from your main and natural. You don't want to engage right in your base. Or you want to go all in before he can (ie: 1-1-1).

Ah but when the ramp is that close to the entrance of the natural it's a whole another story. I know it since I'm a zerg. I'm speaking from a zerg's perspective though, in ZvP flanks works wonders.


The main difference is when zerg flanks, they either use melee units or the roaches which don't get decimated by zealots.

Terran flanks, gets forcefielded out or in and gets destroyed by zealots.
Roaches get decimated by immortals lol
