If you don't know how to post in a live report thread by now, be advised: don't whine about game balance and don't bash players/casters/interviewers/staff/other posters. And don't start the USA USA USA!!! stuff.

What happened`?
he got like blackout drunk and started grabbing mia roses tits and ranting about how he's skinny but not stupid idk
VOD? on takes stream or destinys?
it was on Destiny's stream a few days back. he deleted the VODs, i don't think/know if anyone else has them.
he was with mia and some 17 y/o coke addict (so i am told) and they were all drinking, then he just got reallllly wasted and some pros kept telling him to stop and eventually he did and then deleted the VODs and then posted an apology the next day on reddit.

I generally agree with what you said, but this part really annoyed me.
I'm going to nitpick here and ask, have you ever read Nada's blog post when his dad died? Or Inca's interview and talk about how badly his parents hated him being a progamer? Or even the story of fruitdealer in season 1? It's ridiculous to imply they don't have personality when you said the world wants personality.
Wait... and I just remembered, you're that guy that insulted nal_ra way back in Old boy when I was a Lurker and you didn't know anything about how the korean society works. o-O
holy shit you have an insane memory
i got banned for that although i still mostly stand by what i said (which was that if you know you have a guaranteed military transfer in x months you shouldn't sign up for a tv show that lasts x + 3 months)
I will admit I'm basing what I said off of korean sc2 that I've observed for the past 1.5~ (?) years -- every GSL interview was nothing new learned with frustratingly generic responses (that unfortunately the players seemed pressured into giving by such an honor-bound society, until they achieve literally rank1 "by far" levels-of-greatness which allows them, generally, to be more human/open about their emotions without fear of being chastised.
Some notable exceptions: - Fruitdealer admitting to alcoholism in an interview post GSL s1 win. Definitely very eye-opening, although imo it could've been a bigger "deal" than it was, that was also at SC2's birth as an ESPORT so you can't expect everything to get covered as much as it 'deserved' to.
- The mini-bios that Gom started putting into GSL grand finals on players like MKP and Losira. Fantastic stuff.
However, I think you would be hard-pressed to argue that those aren't by FAR the exception and not the norm. GSL is amazing to foreigners because of 1) the competition; 2) the casters when its Tastosis. The players themselves have little impact/influence/airtime/personality, outside of victory ceremonies and faces of anguish during crushing defeats. The Korean style is very personality-subduing for anyone who doesn't achieve TOP victory. The pressures of that culture, imo, are such that humility is paramount until you have proven yourself to be among the nadas/flashes/boxers. I do not know the inca example you are speaking of, but that sounds both very nice yet also very uncharacteristic.
This is so wrong. Ur blaming the korean media for not giving enough attention to an alcohol illness of a player? Ur want more coverage of ppls problems, their "cindarella stories"? U want a crying fruitdealer with a Whitney Huston song in the background? U like that shit? Switch on ur american/western TV, but please dont request that shit in Starcraft.
Not everything needs to be "covered", "hyped" etc. We are here for starcraft. Its nice, its fanatstic so see the players like they really are, how to act, how they behave. Thats why HSC is so successfull, but stop this "story-making".
If some of the guys at HSC actually are capable of reading TL this night/ tommorrow morning, they will have such a laugh at how you nerds freak out at people being gigglish and a bit louder due to drinking at a tournament whose entire charm lies in it's casual/LAN/guys having fun approach. And, in the case of Rotti after casting long hours no less. Some sticks need to be pulled out of asses and lifes need to be gotten.
If there's no drama for the entire tournament, better hurry and create some bullshit controversy out of nothing. The bangod needs his bans and he sure wont get them if everyone just enjoys the awesome show.

MKP looked very good. 6-0 in his group of death. Nerchio impressed with beating HerO and viOlet. If anyone squeaked by in these tough groups than Real. He doesnt impress with his strategies and could have easily lost vs. both Cloud and Goody. Sound began every series with 0-1 and winning after. JYP did what he was supposed to without very tough opponents. HerO had a hard time (vs Zerg surprisingly), but viOlet and Nerchio are no slouches.

I wish I knew how people are magically pulling the unlisted links to the HSC TwitchTV VODs...
Here is an example from Day 2:
