MKP picking Dual Sight again... same all-in?

Looks like he's walling in this time!

I can't believe MKP lost that game. He was in such a good spot.

Yeah I always hated his playstyle and see him as someone who will fade into obscurity once people just get better.

Strategically inept? He modernized many of the strongest Terran openers and strategies. 1 rax expand, 1-1-1, bio splitting, no wall off(yes this is a real strategy with more positives than negatives),

Oh, really? Tell us more about the positive aspects, then?

Benefits of not walling off for terran

1. Each time an army moves out the depot must be lowered (assuming it is closed at all times) This is approximately a split second to one second delay, in regards to early game pushes each second matters, and throughout the game this will add up.

2. We are in code S territory, these players have the ability to hold any early game attacks with just scvs/tier 1 units, this means that under the assumption that the zerg moves his units inside the main, he will lose his army to the defender (this is a big deal). If there was a wall off this would be discouraged.

3. Psychological effect on opponent, because a wall-off is so expected not seeing one may affect your opponents play in a negative way.

4. Saved mineral time from moving scv's to a farther location.

Downsides

1. Under the rare scenario that your army is soooo far away from your ramp that a zergling can run up and scout every single building, than this is a downside.

Pretty sure Polt started the 1-1-1 shenanigans.

No, according to PuMa and Rain, MKP is the inventor of the 1-1-1

lol 1/1/1 has been around since beta. It pretty much invented itself.

Yes I believe Husky dubbed it the "Destiny Cloud Fist" build or something to that effect. I don't think it was the same marine tank banshee timing attack though, but just a 1/1/1 build to get quick banshees or medivacs

Jesus Fuc*ing christ..................

Foxer's decision making is just SO BAD, even as a big fan I can't help but want to strangle him right now.

The same thing happened vs Losira first game for ONE reason and one reason only - He made his CC AT THE NATURAL.

Now why the hell would you do that????? If you're guaranteed to kill his hatchery than what is stopping you from just making it on your highground(or as part of a walloff on belshir)??? Then none of this stupid 1 base ling(or ling bling) stuff would've worked and it would've been a freewin in the macro game.

Foxer foxer... so much potential but such terrible decisions -_-

MKP disappointing. Im a zerg player and fan. I love to see zergs win in tournaments, but I just have to say that MKP is just embarrassing himself this tournament (and yes I know its replays and not played right now). Proxy crap and one dimensional play, he looks like MMA did a year ago, before he became successful.

could be polarisation filters, as mirrored light from surfaces is often linear polarised you can easily filter it out.

comparison Picture:

http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polarisationsfilter#Vermeidung_von_Spiegelungen

first picture is normal third picture is with polfilter set to filter the mirrored light

1/1/1, meaning 1 rax, 1 fact, 1 port has been around since beta. MKP did not invent that, however the infamous marine/tank/banshee/raven all-in, he did invent, and that was a lot later than the original 1/1/1 invention.

You can pull scv's for repair/buffering/making bunkers.

Lol, was thinking the same thing. He has so much potential, but he just brainfarts so often in televised games. Tries to be too stylish or takes unneeded risks.

So the 1/1/1 as we currently know it (and will always probably think of because of its dominance in two Terran MUs)
