Better to just get 'surprised' by what Zenio does, or lose the game through passivity, no? Doesn't make sense to build five cannons and then misplace a building, that's not a good way to purposely lose the game. I'm with you. I think he messed up there. But the conspiracy theories will float around anyways. I hope Gom looks at this slightly more carefully from now on. Team-mates and affiliates should play first.

I'd be really interested to see Inca DT rush in 4 matches at the same time. Or just have the last two sets played at the same time. That is what FIFA does in their tournaments. They play the final group stage games at the same time so teams don't know automatically if they're in or not.

Actually, this is exactly the way to throw a game while making the illusion that you're trying to win. Do everything right and then do one "small mistake" that people can argue over whether it was a mistake or not. If he did what you suggested it would be a lot more obvious that he is not trying to win. I'll say it again - In the end, the problem is with the format. Fix the format and all will be fine.

With this Naniwa case suddenly everyone will say x was throwing a match and didn't get banned while naniwa did. This will go on for at least a month unless mods do something.

Man he built 6 gateways despite knowing that he would never be able to make use of them, what else do you need to know ? Every decent protoss would have re-walled.

It was a wall off that he saw coming for 40 seconds. Then instead of walling off again and killing Zenio's roach/lings with his void rays, he builds like four gateways for whatever reason.

But even if you are going to throw a game, its good to scout. Just like when u want to win, u want to counter what opponent is doing. When u want to lose, u want to play in to the hands of the opponent. In both cases its good to know what opponent is doing.

It was Losira's and Polt's fault that they're not in Code S right now. Should they won the matches as someone of Code S level is expected to, and there wouldn't be any issue.

BETTER BUILD LIKE 5 CANNONS AND HAVE THEM ALL POWERED BY A SINGLE PYLON!! WINK WINK" *Zenio still almost fails because he's not good enough to target an Artosis pylon* "HEY BETTER NOT WALL OFF MY RAMP SO HIS ZERGLINGS CAN KEEP REINFORCING! I PROBABLY SHOULDNT GET ANY SENTRIES EITHER, JUST IN CASE WINK WINK" While I can see how it might have been an oversight, I find it hard to believe that InCa doesn't play with BuildGrid on, and just HAPPENS to leave a gap in the wall he JUST reinforced with 5 cannons (all powered by a single pylon) He got sentries... he just failed hard with them

Funny thing is GOM changed the format to this because people thought it would be much better to play everyone in their groups rather than a single or two bo3.

Maybe he didn't think Zenio would go for such an obvious strategy, there was no decent way to lose the game after scouting it really. I am not saying he threw the game but that argument doesn't hold.
