I think general consensus is he was essentially going to be contained 4 base (or more) vs 2, with little hope of actually moving out because of how ridiculously easy it can be to counter attack on Belshir Beach given the proper situations (that being one of them). I just don't like the games on that map.

I think we need a definition for starcraft 2 bonjwa, "last person to win a major game" or "last person artosis was screaming about who won a game"?

Whoever wins the latest tournament = best SC2 player of all time. Make it happen.

In the Oz game, I was kind of cheering for both of them, despite rooting a tad more for Oz himself, so it was no big upset.
I was kind of rooting for Leenock, since if he grabbed Nani's chance of fulfilling his promise, he might aswell prove to have more than earned it. And guess what: he went and beat the closest thing we've had to a b-word in SC2, in what seems like it was a GREAT series.
I don't want to jynx this, but are we going to have a good final this time?

I don't believe the finals are ever held at Gomtv studios? They just aren't large enough for a finals, and its being held on the weekend as usual.
Another point I wanted to consider is doesn't Leenock practice a lot with the NSH team? I thought the FXOKorea players were good friends with NSH.

Artosis fanboys are gonna manage to make me hate him (it's no caster bashing, it's fanboys bashing)

Stephano doing well on ladder? OMG STEPHANO IS THE BEST FOREIGNER OF ALL TIME. Hero wins his first tournament ever? OMG HE IS THE BEST PROTOSS IN THE WORLD. Naniwa won like 5 matches at Providence? BEST TOSS IN THE WORLD HANDS DOWN.
It's really silly. There's no denying all those players are really good, but just because someone does really well at something recently certainly does not make them the best.
Very true, I think we will know in time if Leenock and the other upcoming hyped pros can stand the test of time. I am really excited to see another dominant zerg, it has been nestea mainly carrying the weight of zerg in the GSL since fruitdealers win in the first GSL. If Leenock goes on to do well in GSL as an established player like the other "gods" I am gonna get very excited for the spot for top Zerg, him vs nestea.
On another topic: The final is looking to be quite one-sided unless Jijakji pulls a miracle, his TvZ is his worst match-up as far as I know and Leenock just took out MvP in what people are saying was a really close series. I will have to watch it myself but my hopes are high. The next season is deffo gonna be something else.

Yep, that's exactly what the problem is. I do have the option for direct payment, but I can't even use that because Paypal won't accept any ccs from my country in any way.
Meh, you got my hopes up, but oh well.

So if he lost to some bunkers or rushes in there then well, i didn't see it >_< The MMA game was in group stage of this GSL iirc, the next one...I'm not sure tt. It was like "ho, he's losing his hatch again ?" But I think he won this one at the end. So much starcraft these days it's hard :o But anyway, before that I'm with you, I think he was one of the best anti 11/11 players (you have to be to be a top zerg anyway, well unless you're Losira). It seems that the 11/11 is so rare now that it can surprise zerg players, well that's a theory at least. To be honest, leenock has been the best anti-2rax player ever since a few months ago. If you watch his games in GSL when 2rax was still super popular, a lot of terrans tried to pull it on him, but he would always defend and win the games. He counters two rax with patience, a lot of times he allows the terran to finish the bunker, yet still crushes the rush. From looking at his play, I think he really put A LOT of practice hours just to defend against two rax.
yea, hes one of the best anti 2rax, unexpected finals ftw

going through the vods now as always, still cannot believe how poorly oz played, really thought he would be the 2nd protoss player in gsl finals after mc

That sucks. Maybe you can find someone to pay it for you (that are from another country)? Would require some mutual trust though.

Standard play would have been better in game 1 and 5. And game 3...well, he just fumbled. He really didn't play well. Big disappointment, but that can happen when it's your first deep run. Now let's hope he stays good and don't collapse and become a one hit wonder TT
