Sure, these results aren't bizaare at all. Jjakji is very good, and Leenock's been tearing everyone to shreds lately (He actually beat Mvp at MLG)

What an amazing series between Leenock and MVP...
Leenock showing awesome defense and MVP showing resilience in game 1, game 2 the most insane almost comeback by MVP ever, down to the wire. Game 3 just awesome decision making by Leenock and I like how he should Zerg players that you can wall in as zerg and it's really not that hard. Game 4 wasn't too exciting, steady game by MVP and then the final game Leenock just played so awesome, caught so many drops and everything.
And on top of that Tastosis were absolutely hilarious (barring one or two incredible MVP bias parts)

leenock vs mvp
the best sc2 games ever so far

Man, I fell asleep and missed game 5. I can't even begin to fathom how good Leenock will be in 1 or 2 years. Consider that prior to 2 weeks ago MVP had only lost 2 TvZ BoX series in his entire career, and Leenock matched that in a matter of 8 days. The scary thing is that Leenock didn't even play anywhere close to perfect. His late game in particular was very sloppy so imagine what he'll be like when he's fixed those issues. Poor Jjakji doesn't stand a chance.

Leenock and the rising generation, along with the influx of truly a-class BW pros like ForGG, will be gradually replacing mediocre BWers like him and Nestea. It has already begun...We ain't seen nothin' yet. You seem to forget that regardless of how good BW pros are/were they are still different games, and even once they start flooding in I can't see it being this insane domination of the current top SC2 players. Also how does being a mediocre BW player have anything to do with being bad in SC2 or eventually getting replaced? I know NaDa wasn't doing well insanely when he left BW but he has done WAAAAY more in BW than MVP did and well, I don't see any GSL titles for NaDa(as much as I love the guy) do I? Lets not forget also that MVP took a game or so off Flash when he was in literal godmode so I wouldn't write him off as such a slouch. Either way, still upset MVP lost lol but hoping that Leenock will beat Jjakji MVP was "technically" a more mechanically talented player than Nada in BW. Nada had a lot of his sucess when MVP would have been a middle schooler. (That does not mean MVP>Nada what so ever) Think of how basketball players are a lot stronger and more strategic than players of old. Nada is like Wilt Chamberlain, an amazingly talented and the dominant player of his time, but the game has changed a ton since he played, and it's pretty visible that he would have had a different sucess level had he played later. Obviously, Nada is the better overall BW player than MVP, he revolutionzed the game, set tons of records, but eventually he dropped off like all the greats do. By the time MVP came on the scene, the game was much more developed and refined and so he was able to use that to his advantage. It's highly unlikely that MVP would have had Nada's level of sucess had he played in Nada's time, however it is impossible to honestly know. It's hard to compare players of anything from different eras. Who's to say how Babe Ruth would have done in a era where pitchers used different pitches and teams used different strategies? And to be fair to Nada, the dude is in college , and he's still incredibly consistent. Whenever someone uses this stupid reason why NaDa isn't doing well, I tell them to look at Polt. Didnt Polt win the super tournament when he was on summer break and away from his university responsibilities? I think he has been performing subpar since then too.
If anything Polt and Leenock have switched places as the talented player with a string of bad luck. Polt was getting knocked out by the likes of Bomber, MvP, Leenock, etc.

Seems like TvZ and TvT always produce the best games.

ok watched game 1... MVP turned that around in the blink of an eye. just amazing.

As an Oz fan, I don't think he was the better person that day. Jjakji doesn't exactly deserve a RO4 much less the finals seed either the way he handled the allin on game4 but such is the way the brackets align. Thank you leenock for having the audience avoid yet another tvt final
In other news, how do you guys think FXO would fare in GSTL if it ever comes around again? I just realized they have quite a few Code S players now

Hey, in his FXO interview Leenock answer a question that was discussed a couple pages ago
Unstable: During the series MVP was very aggressive in his drops. Games 1 and 2 you had lots of trouble dealing with them. In game 5 you seemed to predict them perfectly how did you do this! Leenock: First 2 games, I did not spread overlord’s well, the last game I focused on spreading them in advance in common places that are used on that map. I caught all the harass, so it was much easier to defend and gain a lead.

too bad i missed the mvp - leenock series and got no gom pass :/

When MVP's playing, yes.

I wish there was a match for the 3rd place, so we can see a mvp and oz fighting ! TvP being the "less good" matchup for mvp, oz would have won imo.
