They're different kinds of Zerg. And Ret's macro is probably better, yes.
DRG has the best injects of all Zergs in the world. Ret plays more greedy, yes, so he will have more stuff if left unharassed, but DRG is better mechanically.
Yesterday in Ret v Thorzain, he had queens at <5 energy at the 15 mins mark after holding of some strong aggression on Dual Sight. If anyone can be better than that i will be amazed... DRG is great but there is almost no-one that has better mechanics than Ret. DRGs strength is think is in his amazing muta control

I like Ret, but assuming he beats Hero, I don't think he'll have a chance against Puma, who has beaten him multiple times before (NASL 2-0, MLG Providence 2-0). Puma's hyper aggressive play seems to be kryptonite to Ret.

I think Nerchio is better than Ret. Given the elo difference 2265 vs 2084 Ret's chances of winning was under 20%, thats a pretty large upset.
