Please stop the tournament comparison discussion. Especially regarding players their runs (Stephano seems to be the current topic). Stay on topic and stick to the games. Consequences will be met out to further derailment.
In addition leave the usual out of this topic:
-Balance complaints -Map complaints -Stream complaints -Caster/player bashing -Off topic discussions
Logically continue this list with things that are obviously frowned upon. Enjoy the free and wonderful event with loads of games and coverage! |

Infestors and Broodlords make the zerg army so much stronger. Stephano's compositions were too simple in those games.
|
Protoss figured out how to counter this composition by turtling about half a year ago. -.- Then zergs realized they could be aggressive and make it work by spreading the ball thin, but stephano is playing like he's in the aforementioned era.

Stephano just didn't play very well in both series, and you cannot win every tournament. And Naniwa is a boss anyway, I hope he advances.

Nani delayed the 4th for ever, that was really sick protoss play <3

I am low platinum myself and I end up having exactly the same comp of units against a protoss in my games. Thanks Stephano could have teched earlier. Some Infestors or BLords would have helped him alot!

Yep. Couldn't agree more.

Huk delayed IdrAs evo with a pressure and killed him with DT
Game 2 was idra trying a roach rush (a weak allin) cross map against a forge FE

Horrible play by stephano. He was in no position to roach/hydra/corruptor which is an awful composition anyways. But Nani played very well. Warp prism and DTs really shook stephano...

Stephano its playing an outdates style. Lol? What would you have him do? Tech up to either mutas or broodlord/infestor like everyone good at ZvP has been doing? Seriously, if you plan on going roach hydra you have to be aggressive but he didn't even try.

Foreigner zvp is just on such a lower level than korean zvp. Foreigner zergs like roach hydra corruptor too much. When koreans do that they actually only really hit timings with it, not play all passive.

Idra vs Huk was pretty 1 sided.
+ Show Spoiler +Huk wins the moment he spawns 1 dt in game 1 and the moment he holds off the 1 base roach all in in game 2.

lol funny how the stephano hater coming out suddenly

Whats going on at Cloud vs Sheth?

Morrows zvp is so superior to Stephanos style!

no he couldn't have
Naniwa killed off all his expansions and kept him on 6 gas all game
he would have died if he teched to hive or infestors

Wheres the terrifying quick hive + spine play ive seen stephano play so well?

huk didn't necessarily delay it. idra went for really late gas and didn't even bother to get it until DTs were nearly warping in next to his natural.
